This place is very cute and has great ambiance. Our waiter was very good as well and appropriately involved. Coffee kept flowing and he helped break down the complicated check without any issues. The brunch itself however didn't do justice to the price tag. The muffins to start with were quite good and fresh, served with butter. The donuts were... More

This place should be on everyone's list of special places. THe seafood was wonderful, the pasta was artfully prepared. The staff couldn't have been more attentive and overall it was a great experience.

Being a waiter isn't easy. Been there. But when you show up early and are one of the first at happy hour or in the restaurant, a little patter is expected. Maybe we looked like tourists and regulars get great service. Whatever. The food was terrific. The sliced leg of lamb and the accompaniments was wonderful and my wife's seared... More

After walking from the National Cathedral to dupont Circle we needed a drink and to take in some history stopped here to have a drink in the lounge. The lounge is very cozy and a nice place to unwind our server was awesome too. After looking at the dinner menu we decided to stay although we were dressed and shorts... More

Walking through the lobby, then the dark restaurant, you might be a little turned off thinking you'll be eating by candle light under the picture of some old unknown english guy. But then you get out the back door and up to the patio out back and its better. Seems they installed a plastic translucent roof over the patio? Not... More

Booked Sunday Brunch. Very traditional pub style setting however opted for outdoor in their quaint courtyard. Brunch menu had all the classics, some with a twist. Took some time to choose but wasn't disappointed. Even managed to squeeze a desert donut as afters. Reasonable price and worth a visit.

Great location and cute scene. Food was delicious and the staff was all very nice and friendly. A bit pricey for eggs, but the overall tone and feel to the restaurant was fun and worth it to treat yourself.

Last time we dined at Tabard Inn restaurant it was not the best experience. The service was eh and they ran out of donuts. Well, we always give places a second chance because every place can have an off day. We had brunch here recently and all went very well. They could not accommodate such a large party outside, but... Amazing restaurant with a lot of character. Loved the dinner we had there. Wish I had been in DC for a few more nights so I could have eaten there again.

We had an amazing brunch at Tabard Inn. The restaurant is quite charming. I had no idea. I'd love to stay at the inn and go down to the restaurant for breakfast each morning. I believe the restaurant and inn are spread throughout 3 adjacent buildings (brownstone type buildings). We were seated in a cute parlor room that overlooked the... More
