We had a great diner with our 3 daughters to celebrate the 12th birthday of our oldest daughter during a once-in-a-lifetime trip to the states. There was a problem with a mussel but they elegantly fixed it. Really friendly staff. Great people. Would love to...go there again. Really recommend the place.More
Service very good, nice place, relation quality/price for the food is not ok. Very expensive food for a low quality. If you really know about Spanish food, this is not the place to enjoy it.
It’s a happy experience dining here enjoying red sangria and the lobster paella. We had a great service and also enjoyed the music after 8 pm . The churros and chocolate tasted ok, could be better ! Overall , a very nice restaurant to experience...Spanish cuisine ✨✨✨✨✨More
The food as outstanding. The maitre de professional,. The cost for five was expensive. We were in a side room, but it as still noisy.—a distraction. In general we were not treated with attention. I would put up with all that for the food
This is a must while in DC, reasonable and impeccable fine dining with Fri & Sat flamenco dancing and music! Tapas were out of this world: squid(puntillitas), garlic prawns(Gambus a Ajillo), Croquetas de Jabon Serrano and the Ensalada con gamba, mango, aguacate y quesa de...Cabra to start us off. We each had both the red and white Sangrias. Perfect drinks, highly recommend a pitcher of your favorite. Our server was superb and his name was Antonio, we hope to sit at his table next time. Loved giving a 25-30% tip, I just rounded up ‘cause we love him and everything about this place!More
The food was average. It’s not exactly authentic Spanish food. We had the Ensalada de Atun (similar to Ensalada Rusa), chorizo en cidra, tortilla de patata, pan con tomate and churros con chocolate. All of the portions were fine except for the churros which were...$11 for four small pieces and maybe 2 oz of chocolate….and the churros were covered in sugar. In total we spent about $120 for a few small plates. A bit expensive for what we got. The service was average considering our waiter was replaced without us knowing. We barely got any attention. However, his full attention was probably on the larger birthday party. I think that there’s better alternatives. Unfortunately I took a chance on this instead of Jaleo.More
We had a group reservation that we had to cancel due to a Covid-positive test and the restaurant, which has plenty of availability, charged us the per-person reservation fee. It’s clear they did not turn away other tables to accommodate us, so the cancellation didn’t...cause them to lose other business. They specifically said they did not care if we came with Covid, but that they would charge the fee regardless. I don’t recommend making reservations here, and given their approach to Covid, I don’t know that I’d recommend dining there.More
Victor made the dinner experience fenomenal. And made us feel at home. He is a great franchise representative. Amazing proper Spanish tapas and amazing paella. Family experience was very good after a long day.
We made the mistake of not booking our table closer to the music program, but we were able to sit at the bar after our meal. Amazing tasty octopus, rice with squid ink and calamari. Wine suggestions are on point, and it felt like a...whole team was dedicated to our having a wonderful experience. From the bread server to the maitre d, just a wonderful place. It felt like we were on vacation. Recommend for a special evening.More
service quality has really suffered...entree's took a very long time to arrive, and server was entirely unapologetic. Food does not equal the attitude.
I went with my family for a birthday celebration and I was gladly surprised by a Spanish flamenco show. Then, we ordered different tapas and all of them were delicious. The service was incredible and the lights and the whole atmosphere festive yet intimate. I...had an unforgettable night that reminded me of my Spanish roots. I recommend it to anyone who would love to taste a bit of Spain !!More
The paella here is the best in DC and the servers are first rate. Any of the paella are great but the mariscos (seafood) is best. The salmon tartare and shrimp in garlic sauce appetizers are also wonderful. Overall, it's a wonderful place that deserves...5 stars.More
Excellent food. Excellent service. Excellent choices. Great vibe! Noted in my reservation that it was my birthday. There was a signed card on the table was well as an extra little dessert with a candle. Nice touch!
I’m tired of informal restaurants and trendy places. I lived in Madrid for a year and this reminds me of my favorite fine dining experiences there. It is not stuffy, but instead formal and restrained and quiet. Paella de mariscos is astounding still, after all...these years. Also jamón serrano y queso manchego. Sea bass next time. They roast it in a salt crust for perfect tenderness. Afterwards, crema catalana. Of course, we will be back as it is hard to find this type of dining experience any longer. The wine list is to die for. And for what you get, the prices are reasonable.More
