Had lunch there in a great atmosphere, excellent service. Built in 1872, you can sense history while seated in a yesteryear booth enjoying perfectly prepared fishes. Fish tacos huge, do get the crab cake sliders. Great drinks.

Went here with our family of 6 on vacation. Best meal we had that entire week, by far, and we are at some great places that week. The server was over the top attentive and funny. The food was great and each one of my family members enjoyed their dish. My daughter has a peanut and tree-nut allergy and they... More

Heard it was good from recommendations. Even looked at Trip Advisor. Did not disappoint. Make reservations ahead of time as this is a popular place. Well known for seafood and well deserved. We were a party of about 18 and the service was as if we were a party of two. Very individual. I had a Walnut Bourbon pie. Simply... More

They have probably the best raw oysters in the area. Service wasn't horrible, but the server didn't seem very enthusiastic about his job. Maybe he was having a bad day?

Lovely restaurant in a great location where you will get to see some of the "Who's Who " of Washington, D.C. Although, to my taste, the selection of food is not the best and there was only one item in the menu that I cared for, it was very good and very tasty. The portion was enough for 2 to... More

My adult meal was fine...good sandwich, good drink. Kids salmon order was literally two bites. About 2 in long. Almost comical. My kid ate hers and we ordered a second. Carrot cake was delicious. Ambiance was probably fine in the actual restaurant. We were, at 4pm, on an uncrowded weekday, seating directly next to the kitchen. In a weird corner... More

Seated our party of 6 quickly in the bar. The ambiance was pleasant. Food was yummy. I had the scallops. I would go back. A little pricey.

Had dinner at the old Ebbitt Grill last night with a business associate. Once again we had a reservation for 6:30 and we were seated immediately at 6:30. The waiter Thomas was excellent and met our every needs. We started by splitting a dozen oysters, we ordered the main oysters and they were delicious. expensive at $32 a dozen but... More
