These stores are located over many cities and allow the shopper to purchase as much or as little as they like. There is hot & cold buffet food to go. A supermarket, a bakery, fruit market and deli. You can also buy your food and...More

With not so many restaurants in the Foggy Bottom area, this Whole foods market has really picked up the slack offering full meals and get breads and desserts.

For dinner in advance of a concert at the nearby Lisner Auditorium, we dropped into this Whole Foods which has separate floors for the normal groceries (lower level) and a series of buffets and counters for a wide range of fresh entrees, salads, soups, etc....More

Whole Foods is good for everything, but they have an amazing salad bar and small cooked items that fill you up. Nice salad dressings as well.

It's a super market, and has a good selection. However it is really expensive, adn doesnt have any great a selection than a regular grocery store (Giant, Safeway, Shoppers Food)...just more expensive

We found this while walking back from the Metro. Great choices for food to buy fresh or to buy plated (they weigh the plate for the cost) Two floors - lots of stuff - plenty of staff to help:)
