Ordered a tuna melt and fries. The fries were super soggy and flavorless. You could tell they were previously frozen and they were like eating wet cardboard. The tuna melt was falling apart, cold, and wasn't seasoned well at all. They forgot to include the...avocado which I thought was very ironic. I would never go here again. Super overpriced for mediocre food.More

Our family made our second visit to Avocado Cafe yesterday. We were all very satisfied with our food. We ordered a steak and cheese sub, a Booyah wrap, falafel pitas, a side order of falafel, and two smoothies. Everything was prepared perfectly. The smoothies were...made to order with fresh fruit, and it was evident when you tasted them. The falafel was crispy, not greasy. The wrap, pitas, and sub were all super fresh as well. If I was only rating the food, this place would get a 5. However, there are some customer service areas that could use improvement. Our interaction with the store owner was great. He and his wife are quite personable and eager to please. But, the person who took our order was not nearly as pleasant. While he was not rude at all, he did make it seem as if he really didn't care for his job. When I asked if he had any menu recommendations, he said, "the first two wraps" and did not elaborate. Once our order had been placed, everyone seemed to disappear. Someone actually walked into the cafe to order something, but left after waiting several minutes for someone to take her order. To me, this is very sad because the food is actually very good. I think if the customer service was improved, the overall business this cafe receives would increase.More

Stopped in to this restaurant because it was away from the crowded night clubs and bars. We ordered a pizza, and the owner immediately began making the dough fresh. While waiting for the pizza, we were given some free falafel to sample. Our daughter said...it was the best she'd ever had and can't wait to go back for more. (And she'd previously not really cared for falafel very much.) We enjoyed it so much we ordered some to go. The pizza toppings we chose were pepperoni and sausage, although many more are available. The large pizza was huge, and ingredients were very fresh. The pizza as a whole was quite tasty. A previous review indicated there was a language barrier when trying to place an order, but we did not encounter that at all. We will definitely go back again!More

Waited for a long time to have order taken; not because it was busy but because there was nobody to take my order. There was a huge language barrier to place my order. Ordered lunch special (salad, wrap, drink). I asked for no onion in...salad and what kind of wrap I could order (as they had several lists). They came out with the wrap package. Eventually, I got my order in and waited awhile. Nice presentation when it finally made it to my table. Unfortunately, the salad came with raw onions pieces (not sliced onion rings you can pick out). I took a bite of the lettuce and found dirt in it. That took care of the salad. The ice tea was sweet (I asked for unsweetened). That took care of the ice tea. The wrap had good potential with avocado and chicken and bacon but unfortunately the chicken tasted awfully dried out. Maybe they had a bad day, but there was nobody in the restaurant ....More

We stopped in for a quick/ healthy lunch. We had the grilled chicken and falafel version of wraps. Both were great. Very fresh.
