This is a somewhat new hip place. Food is excellent, service is quick, interesting drinks and good beer selection. The server we had was very knowledgeable and did an excellent job. It was a cold night when we went and had to wait a little...More

I came here for a second date, I enjoyed the shishito peppers, the fall fritters, and the mountain pie. But the sweetbreads were my favorite. The Chocolate Pot de Creme was very good, the Creme Brulee was great. The cheese plate was fantastic.

The food here was simply delicious. I came here for dinner with five of my work colleagues and we sampled from every corner of the menu. I had a fantastic hangar steak - what is usually a chewy cut of beef was butter-smooth and beautifully...More

I had wanted to visit this restaurant for some time and finally had the opportunity. Initial impression: very crowded (on a week night) and very noisy. Service was very friendly and very slow. Highlights of the meal were the appetizers: mixed olives (a huge serving),...More

Sat outside on a balmy evening and enjoyed the neighborhood vibe - inside seemed high energy and loud. The host was exceptionally courteous and helpful. Food is good - with a different variety of both appetizers and meals. Appreciated the variety. Go for the beet...More

Mint wood is everything you likely want in a casual restaurant. Very good food and excellent service. While the menu is not always large, the restaurant makes us for that with creative and superb food.

Is a typical Washington DC restaurant noise on a Friday or Saturday. Perhaps, early dinner and during the week days it may be less people therefore, less noise :). Other than that, the food and service is super!
