The Hamilton Live is the lower level 300-seat live music and entertainment venue offering nightly entertainment from local, national and international musicians.
Awesome atmosphere and large variety of food. I've been to DC several times and this was my first time at this restaurant...wish I had been here before. Close to the White House, yummy sushi happy hour, and friendly/quick wait-staff. Would highly recommend!
I had my meal at the bar. The bartender was highly attentive, the beer she recommended was a great choice, and the soup and sushi were delicious. A little pricier than I expected for DC in this location.

My wife and I love the Hamilton. It’s got a wide menu with great options. Fried deviled eggs were awesome when they had them last year. The menu changes enough that you can return. Drinks are strong enough to be worth the money (as far...More
We go to many live concerts and The Hamilton Live is the best venue in the Washington area. It is a small venue with an intimate feel. It is a beautiful space with friendly, attentive staff. It has the best food of any performance venue...More
Food was fine. Service was inattentive, let you sit for long periods with no check backs. If you wanted or needed anything, too bad. Food cold by the time they came around. Couldn’t even make eye contact with the bussers. Disappointing, had heard great things.
In complete honesty, the reason my family and I decided to eat at this restaurant when we went to DC in November was because my younger sister is obsessed with Hamilton (the musical), and it was for her birthday. The food was average at best....More
The setting is very classic, with leather sofas and old style paintings. The bar looks magnificent. The menu is unusually large, with everything from brunch to burgers to sushi! We came for Sunday brunch and were very happy with the eggs Benedict and the claim...More
