Nice venue and attentive staff. Brisk take out business. Not very busy on a Halloween night. Red curry was plentiful and tasty but rice and chicken were very dry. Tom Yun Goong had a nice flavor and a few shrimp but not much veg.

Regent Thai serves fresh, reasonably priced dishes in a funky atmosphere. Patio seating is also available. We had larb gai, papaya salad, panang beef and fried shrimp w cashews. All were good. Worth a visit if you are in the Adams Morgan area.

We tried the dumplings (siu mai), shrimp pad thai and duck green curry (not on the menu, but we asked for green curry with duck and they accommodated our craving!) We really liked the sauce they served with the siu mai, the pad thai was one of the best I've had and the green curry with duck was very tasty.... More

Great place and good food close to my hotel. Was disappointed bc the didn't have pad woosen on the menu. Good service. Good dumpling and spring rolls. Daughter really enjoyed panang Thai chicken. My drunken noodles were tasty.

Have not been to Regent Thai for ages. It has been there on 18 & U/Florida Ave area since no U-street and Adams Morgan is a small neighborhood stop. Now Regent Thai is in the middle of the bigger area of night life. The place shows some aged but the decor is still the same. Service was great and food... More

We were here on a Sunday night. They have a good selection of dishes, and the food was good. The service in particular was perfect.

I dined here with my work colleagues, and it was good. I had asked the waitress to give us a variety of food, because there were so many of us, and I didn't want to decide on the menu. She gave us some awesome Pad Thai, Green Curry and Fried Spring Rolls. The wine prices are reasonable too, which is... More

A place does not have to get everything right to earn 5 stars. But it does need to get a lot of things right and "The Regent" scored well on multiple fronts. This was my process of choosing a restaurant as my wife and I found ourselves in DC over the past weekend. Find a place which is open late... More

I do not even know where to begin because there were so so so many positive aspects to the experience my group had @ Regent. First of all, Tom was super helpful when I called about a month ahead of time to see if our group could reserve space for a dinner with a large group. He was amazingly accommodating... More

The atmosphere is nice, the service is consistently good and the basil fried rice is AWESOME. That said, it's not the best Thai I've had by any means -- but it is by far one of the best in the area. IMO, DC just sucks at Thai food. This is one of the best options.
