A great steakhouse as advertised! And very, very busy...food portions are quite large so plan accordingly. Yes, it's pricey, but treat yourself to a great steak and fine wine. You won't regret it!

Our service was very good, and the food was good too, but it wasn't as good as I was expecting for the price. We had a group of 9 ladies and we share a few of the sides; the brussel sprouts were fabulous! The fingerling potatoes and mashed potatoes were good, but not anything overly special. I had the Ahi... This was for my birthday and I was looking forward to the visit! Unfortunately a stomach ailment slowed me down. The staff noticed my discomfort and were very attentive. My meal was superb plus they gave me a birthday cake. Nice people, great food, but pricey

May be one of the best dining experiences ever. Capital Grille is what the others want to be. Very friendly staff, lively atmosphere, excellent food, service unparalleled. Bill helped make it a great dinner as our waiter, was knowledgeable, always there to meet our needs but never intrusive. Not a bargain meal kind of place but no one on the... More

This classic DC hangout is worth a visit if you can get in. Call ahead for reservation. Think oak paneling, good wine and power brokers. Definitely suit-appropriate. Exceptional service at an equally exceptional price. (Treat yourself; Then eat at Dennys the rest of the trip to compensate!)

Party of Three, one ordered tuna, the other a fabulous bone-in filet. I enjoy three different side dishes: creamed spinach mushrooms, and wonderful scalloped potatoes. Service was excellent once we were seated. The noise level in this restaurant is not conducive to intimate business conversation, but the atmosphere is energizing.

We stopped in looking for a place to mingle with the locals. We were looking for food to go with a few cocktails. The food we had was very good, but not a place to go sit down and enjoy a quiet meal. Great place to watch a game, have a few drinks and some finger food. Cannot go wrong... More

I can't help it- even though I usually hate chain restaurants there is something different about The Capital Grille that I absolutely love. I have tried so many different locations of this restaurant and when I was at this location on Saturday for lunch it was the same- absolutely amazing! The Stoli Doli (their signature cocktail) I started with was... More

Another chain restaurant with large meals, overly enthusiastic wait staff who describe their chain restaurant as if it were something original or an institution, and high prices. You can do so much better. Granted, if you want a really large steak, want to pay a lot for it, and want to sit among the expense account set, this is for... More
