It is one of the more reasonable places in Washigton and you wouldn't think so knowing congressman and senators and famous people eat there. We were quite impressed with atmosphere and food. The one waiter we had was terrible but the rest was awesome I highly reccommend and would have given 5 stars if not for the one server. Nice... More

We recently had dinner (party of six) at The Capital Grille. It was a wonderful place to get together - we took our time and never felt rushed. Our waiter was so knowledgeable and accommodating, and the ambiance is lovely. Since you want to know, the steaks were fantastic - four of us had steaks with a variety of doneness.... More

We went to Capital Grille for Easter dinner. My husband and I ordered the bone in filet special, which was very expensive but also very tasty. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. My daughter ordered the lobster Mac and cheese side as an entree and really enjoyed it. My son ordered the lamb chops which were a huge disappointment. Very very salty... More

My wife and a few co workers ate here last night and the food and service was amazing. The service was spot on, the drinks were delicious, and the food was perfect. I am not a picky eater but this place has the best food I've had in a long time eating out.

We had a nice lunch here, after visiting the Newseum (across the street). The food was prepared well and the portions were just enough. Would go there again.

After a long day of visiting the capital, we were hungry and passed here. It was a great choice to stop and eat at the Capital Grille. Ambience is between an upscale pub and fine dining. They have an impressive wine cellar and a cooler room of aged beef slabs-steaks are their specialty. The food was fantastic! I had the... More

I have been here for dinner several times, but first time for lunch. Had a terrific caesar salad with beef tenderloin, which was not only perfectly prepared but also was soft and tender and tasty. Really nice. Doesn't seem like a place for a speedy experience, even with the dedicated lunch menu. Perhaps, if in a hurry or time pressed,... More

Nothing is ever small in this restaurant, we were early on our reservations, so it took us quite some time to get into our seats. We were in a group of 40 ppl and it the servers were responsive. Thumbs up! While we were waiting, I was looking into their Hugeee wine cabinet/ collections, and the one of the staff... More
