Great variety of appetizer and dinner options. Limited selections but varied over meat, poultry and seafood. Found the cheese plate okay ($7/cheese selected), mussels fantastic (onion and cream based broth,$15, for about 2 dozen). Deviled eggs delicious and spicy. Steak was a bit undercooked (wife ordered medium). Wines a bit pricy but again a great selection. For party of 4... More

A small, imtimate, upscale restaurant in NW DC. Reasonably pricey. A good place to go for a nice evening out. I had the Strozzapreti -pancetta, pea, asparagus, basil crème fraiche. Similar to a carbonara, could have had more flavor but was good.

Four of us went to Ardeo & Bardeo for dinner, and all of us felt that the menu was a little bit eccentric. I had actually not heard of many of the dishes, and I eat out often. All of us had difficulty picking a dish and my husband decided to go with a recognizable appetizer (Calamari) rather than a... More

This place is great for brunch. For $29 you can get unlimited mimosas or champagne, an appetizer and a meal. The food is excellent and the service is good too. It's also in a different area of DC, right next to the national zoo, so if you're visiting and you've done all the national mall stuff and dined around there,... More

Chef Kelly has rejuvenated the menu--the groupings and the food. He prepares what he can consistantly do well. We started with a cheese plate and a fabulous corn pudding (unbelievable). We each had his great fried chicken with spicy sweet sauce. Big enough portion to enjoy some for lunch the next day! Eamonn is an excellant server.

My daughter and I visited here Friday night. I had driven 11 hours that day, so I was ready for a nice meal and some quiet conversation. She made a reservation because so many places in Georgetown get very crowded on Friday night. When we arrived at 7:30, it was clear we would not have needed a reservation. The space... More

We were here for a family dinner. We have come before for brunch, which is great. The service was outstanding. The waiter was exceptionally knowledgable about the food and very pleasant and efficient. I followed his recommendations and had soft shell crabs followed by Branzino (European sea bass). The crabs were delicious and a perfect starter. The fish was ok... More

We got recommended to this while in DC, and was really surprised how good it was. Lots of wine selection, and the food was fantastic! I got the burger on a sesame seed bun, onion and bacon jelly, and cheese. It was outstanding. The home cut fries with sea salt were to die for.

Chef Kelly has really upped the menu. Best it's been since we started coming years ago. The grilled calamari and fresh beet salad was fabulous. Soft shell crabs were delicious. Best was the fried chicken--haven't had better. Service, as always, was very good. Fran runs a great place!
