we liked it pretty well. didn't wow us but we liked it enough to go back. some nice dishes. some service a bit inconsistent - slow and ong periods of no attention ad sometimes pretty friendly. died the brooklyn pints, brussel sprouts, chickpeas and tomato fritters good. burger and ravioli just ok...mushroom pizza and salmon good.nice wine selection.

a lovely Sunday night dinner at Ardeo, which has a jolly buzz. We only all went for similar dishes: gnocchi, a lamb ragu fettuccine and a simply mouthwatering tagliatelle with clams, lobster and bok choi (which was the stand-out dish). Dessert was a mix of sorbets and gelato and a superb (and rather large) creme brûlée. Service was excellent despite... More

We arrived before crowds and had a lot of immediate attention. But they got busy and we lost our waiter. It took a bit to get our bill. I had the chicken and it was incredible. My friend had the pasta that starts with the letter S. she said fresh pasta so was very filling.

Good food, wine and cocktails are good. Appropriate restaurant for a group of 25, for a business dinner.

Rarely do you find a restaurant that can handle traditional Thanksgiving fare with non-gobble specials. Staff was friendly if a bit harried. A special shout out to barmaster Myrriah!!! Chechk out her basil cocktail.

What keeps this restaurant from being in the excellent category? Perhaps trying to do a little too much-- the main courses could use a little simplifying. I had a pasta that had meat and vegetables but they overwhelmed the noodles... I will return to see if they have improved.

Very much enjoyed our brunch here...omelet perfectly cooked, excellent potatoes on the side (just OK bread basket), terrific burrata, frisee, beet salad w/poppyseed dressing, and champagne and/or mimosas, or some personalized combination thereof very nice; smoked salmon benedict also good; good, pleasant service, although is there some reason that before the food comes things like salt/pepper/ketchup aren't put on the... I have been to this restaurant before but it has been awhile, the food was fantastic and so creative. Had the risotto and Brussels sprouts side. Double yum!!

Service at the bar while waiting for the rest of my pay was fantastic- friendly, available and helpful. From there it was a bit hit and miss. I talked to the maitre de when I arrived about having a reservation abs just waiting in the bar for friends but he acted shocked that we wanted a table when they arrived.... More

Watered down bloody marys, the saltiest ($14) burger we have ever had, and a disinterested waiter who forgot to bring coffee. When we complained he said "welcome to DC". Right. The deviled eggs were great, so not a terrible rating, but I would not recommend this place.
