The restaurant was packed so I assume the full meals are excellent. But the house cocktail called RIS was rather like drinking medicine. The sharing platter was ok but not amazing for $25, it was small with very little bread. Service was ok but not...More

We love the DC restaurant scene - usually. This week, though, suffered through a terrible meal and bad service at RIS. Met a group for drinks and appetizers an hour before my actual reservation (7 pm). Restaurant was empty (6 pm). Asked if we could...More

There were many great things...first, we had a large group (20) and had incredible service. Second, the food was really good. I had the French Onion Soup as a starter and it was incredible! Then on to a very tasty filet with a great potato...More

Nice variety of options for dinner! Our group of 16 each thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The Charcuterie board was unique and delicious as was the tomato soup, chicken marseille and salmon. Really all was top Knoth! Highly recommend dining here!

This a delightful innovative resturant. Service makes you feel that you are special. The meat loaf is unbelievable. It doesn't deserve a pueblean name. The lamb is delicious. These meals are only served once a week.

Services was excellent and the food great. We had both fish and chicken and they were prepared just right. Although busy, the restaurant was not loud. Lots of windows mad the setting bright. We will be back.

I had lunch with my colleagues here and it was fantastic. The menu was quite varied and all of us loved our choices. Many different and perfectly prepared fish choices. The waiter was so delightful and patient as we asked him a lot of questions.

I was there solo on a cold and therefore very slow Sunday night. The Portuguese seafood stew was delicious as was the spaghetti squash appetizer. The appetizer was a huge portion - maybe three times what I could eat by myself. Service was slow on...More

This was my second time to RIS and I enjoyed it much more than the first time. The menu for vegetarians is limited and I had the cauliflower which is a signature feature of the restaurant. It is tasty and plentiful but the plating is...More

Hello, I am sorry that you didn't have a great experience your second visit with us. The cauliflower dish is a signature that people tend to love. I am sorry you didn't experience the same. We add other vegetarian dishes on and off the menu...More
