The number one rated steak house in DC by Zagat which I didn't realize. We were staying downtown so this was a nearby walk. Being a huge prime rib fan, I had this as a must visit while in DC. Heart the interior - classy, timeless and elegant. The live piano bar was a nice feature and we were seated... More

Snooty. Terrible attitudes and most importantly the food was disappointing. Prime rib requires an oven and someone with half a brain. Please make sure u wear a suit. That way you are dress like a pro to eat below average food.

The Prime Rib has come to be a fixture in Washington, DC. As a resident of the area, I have eaten there 100s of times, and I have never been disappointed. The prime rib -- there signature dish -- is the best I have ever eaten. Hint -- try the end cut for the crunchiness, and you can still get... More

First of all there is no better Martini in D.C.! A simple drink, but it's amazing how many bars/restaurants cannot master it. The Prime Rib never disappoints. The prime rib and steaks are the stars though. They do everything very well from appetizers to dessert. The place reeks of power and almost all the waiters are old-school men in traditional... More

The filet was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. The pineapple martinis went down like water! Atmosphere was great. There was piano music. Unfortunately my husband and I are from out of town and weren't aware of the sports coat rule so they let him borrow one

My husband loves steakhouses, this definitely had an "old fashioned" "traditional" type feel to it, jackets required for men. The atmosphere was very nice, could carry on a nice conversation while listening to the pianist. Our waiter was absolutely wonderful, had extensive knowledge of the menu and could answer any questions we had. The food was very good, but I... More

The Prime Rib in DC, unfortunately, is not the singularly excellent place that it used to be. My prime gripe is that their format used to be slice of prime rib not on the bone as the lunch serving, and for dinner a humongous and delicious slab of fantastic prime rib on the bone.. Now, "lunch has become dinner". The... More

Our weekend could bot have been complete without dining here. Excellent, attentive and knowledgeable wait staff. Beautifully decorated with a remarkable ambiance. The food was exquisite. There are simply no better words. The prime rib melted in my mouth. I can't wait to visit Baltimore's location.
