This place can be lots of fun but the food can have sad results because the standard is too much salt thrown on the grill. If you know in advance you ask to have this left off and personalizations of ingredients used is easy, vegan combinations are easy, and you can supplement with a decent sushi menu

The all you can eat sushi is probably not the way to experience this restaurant. They do have a large selection and it does get snapped up quickly, which gets the score up from 2 stars to 3 stars. But the sushi itself is either overly sweet or boring, and frequently both. I really want to like this place, but... More

They appear to be in the midst of rebranding the restaurant, as there were new graphics on the window identifying the restaurant as "BoRu." Inside, the decor, service and food remain as before. While the decor neither adds or detracts from the experience and the food has always been a definite plus, the service again was indifferent at best. If... More

I was there for a sushi buffet. The server was very rude telling me the buffet was about to finish. However, they allowed me to grab some pieces, and the food that I tried was pretty average. Anyway, I wasn't expect so much for the price of the buffet. ($13 plus tax) I'm really planning to go again to give... More

I usually don't give bad reviews but this place touched a nerve. I was there for a sushi Buffett, I know what did I expect getting "buffet" sushi. I was one of the first guests and the serving area was a mess, the tongs looked like they haven't been cleaned since the last Buffett, kinda gross, should have left. Food... More

They have a buffet that is better than some Chinese buffets although the service is not tops, but it is buffet, so what do I know? A man told me, it's not the best, but it's so good, he and his wife keep coming back once every week! If you are hungry, if you are in the Ballston area of... More

Not the best service, food average, chef did not seem to interested while cooking. Used to offer military discount but stopped. Cleanliness was also a little weak.

The sushi here is usually quite decent and at times amazing. I have eaten here more than 20times and only once did my bill reflect the food i ordered. Stopped going after the 4th time in a row dinner ordered and received did not match the receipt. But the buffet lunch is a good value and they can't make an... More
