A flexible menu of small, medium and big bites. Shrimp & cuttlefish ceviche very clever. Heirloom Tomatoes fresh and bright. Burrito was an interesting surf and turf take (Wayagu and lobster), but lobster could have been smaller pieces. Pollo Con Mole was cleaver fried chicken...More

One of the best meals we've experienced in DC in a while, and that's with a lot of stiff competition. We enjoyed a seamless progression of flavors, from cocktails to appetizers to delicious plates for sharing, culminating with a fruit-forward take on panna cotta. Each...More

I was brought here on a date. There was a nice selection of Mezcal to start. We then ordered the Shrimp and Cuddle Fish Ceviche. I found it to be one of of my favorite dishes. It is somewhat spicy but the combination of flavors...More

If you get deja vu like us when entering Poca Madre, it is because it occupies part of the same space as the former Del Campo. The more casual Taco Bamba occupies the rest of the space. The key strength of this restaurant is that...More

My husband is a huge taco bamba fan and I figured this would be the perfect upscale experience for his birthday dinner. I had placed notes in our reservation noting the birthday, and again advised our server when we were greeted. Very disappointing, but there...More

My favorite dining experience of most recent trip--maybe of all time. It is a challenge to find--tucked behind taco place and currently out of view due to construction in area but SO worth the hunt and glad we made a reservation as it's tiny. It...More

Older children would be okay but it’s a small place & I’m not sure if small children would like it much. The food is for developed palettes. There is outside seating which might be better when the weather gets warmer.
