Cheryl and I had a wonderful experience. It's an open space with high ceilings designed to carry a lot of sound. However, we could have been outside or there are some more private booths but we were good with the loud ambiance. I had the pork (chop) and Cheryl a seafood salad. Our waiter was extremely attentive with the perfect... More

I had breakfast here on dec 3 and ordered the scrambled 3 eggs hashbrowns, sausage and toast for $13. The food was exactly the same as the free breakfast that you get at a holiday inn. the eggs were the fake egg product - the kind that you buy by the gallon, and I got a small pile [not 3... More

Food was over priced. Crab cake sandwich was passable at $16, glass of white wine $10. Waitress was disinterested and terrible. She whispered the whole time, took her time with my order, change & service. No refills offered and I had to wait 6 minutes while she dawdled about getting my change. $31 for sandwich, wine & tip. Pass on... More

Selected this place based on reviews but after walking there found the place closed and out of business. Looked like they were even selling the furniture.

They have a great salad and skirt steak for dinner. And my favorite was the breakfast buffet that was free with the room. It had healthy options which is very important to me.

Yes it is in the hotel, the food was great! Burger cooked just right and seasoned. A very nice red wine list to match the burger.

The Bistro is a good option for a light meal in the West End of Washington. On the ground floor of the State Plaza, it offers breakfast, lunch and dinner in an informal atmosphere. A limited menu with soups appetizers and salads for a start leading to sandwiches and a short list of entrees followed by desserts. Tasty food served... More

the staff are very good but the food is only mediocre. I ordered American breakfast and the bacon is crispy. So crispy that its like crinkled paper. Some people like this but at least give me an option. They cut the bacon so thin. I then ordered sausage the next day. The sausage was like synthetic food. The bowl of... More

We stayed at the hotel so decided to try the restaurant on the first night. We tried to go for lunch but it was strangely closed on Saturdays. The food was reasonably priced. My husband had the seafood stew which he enjoyed. I had the grilled cheese which was a little too greasy. We were not impressed that they did... More
