Stopped by on a whim during restaurant week - delicious and well worth the price fixe deal. Elegant, friendly service, good food, perfect for a quick bite at the bar or a date night.

A cozy spot with great wine, great bread and great pasta. The 4 of us each ordered different entrees and none of us were disappointed. The gnocchi, butternut squash ravioli, and pasta dishes were amazing. The chocolate tarte was a nice way to polish it...More

We visited on a weekday, following recommendation by our next door hotel - half empty, rest of people seemed like us. We ordered bolognese, gnocci, ravioli, carbonara and fish of the day. All were ok, but nothing special. Nothing to remember.

Sat us right away with warm drinks and hot bread with oil. Very cozy inviting restaurant with a table by the window to people watch over McPherson park in the rain. We both had the squid, shrimp and lobster with the pasta. Delicious. Would definitely...More

We were not able to get in at 6 on a Saturday evening (2 hour+ wait), but came back on Sunday with a reservation that was not really necessary. Food and service were excellent, and the sound level allowed actual conversation

This Italian restaurant has a typical menu that both lacks anything distinctive or prepared with panache. The wine list is quite good, though, with prices well below that of most Washington restaurants

So I am not adverse to paying good money for a good meal, but when you boast ambiance and high quality, be sure be able to match it. Needless to say, their wine selection is quite robust, but a bit overpriced. they also don't have...More

I've been there a number of times at night and absolutely can hear your companions clearly and you cannot hear the people at the surrounding tables. One of the reasons I love this restaurant.
