We have been coming to los cuates for a long time as i used to live in Glover park and the quality of food kept us coming back. I have since moved away but we have still been ordering delivery during Covid many many times,...and we wanted to come in and dine in on the patio to support the business. The restaurant was empty, we were the only table there and the server was no where to be found after our first round of drinks. I had to actually go inside and ask for a server like he forgot he had a table after 20-30 minutes. He then added items to our check we never ordered and we asked for a manager to speak to after speaking to someone who looked like a manager. Whoever we spoke to then sent the server back out. He admitted the wrong items after price gouging were on the check and it was just really awkward. Love the place, have been going and supporting for years, and we spent $300 but we will not be returning.More

I'll keep this short, only to say a more overpriced and mediocre Mexican place would be hard to find. Dined there with my teen-aged daughter and the trashy staff and customers sitting at the teeny little bar near our table could not speak a single...sentence without some profanity, a sign of ignorance if ever there was. I paid $50 for a plate of hot dog food with french fries plunked on top, that was supposed to be some "savory" chicken dish. My daughter's tamales were lacking any flavor and were cold. Spend your time and money elsewhere, their indifferent attitude was just the icing on a crappy cake.More

I took my grown children out for lunch here recently. I found the food very plentiful, and extremely spicy. The great thing was that the white sangria was perfect in taming down the spiciness!

My husband and I love this restaurant in Georgetown. We have had the tortilla soup and it is excellent!! The complementary chips and sauce are very tasty. The rest of the mine is great. Very good!

The waiter was friendly and welcoming. We ordered a pitcher of the sangria. It was delicious and strong, however it was served in a scratched, worn away clear plastic pitcher. Not a good presentation. We both ordered the combination platter, where you can pick two...or three enchiladas, taco... we both picked beef enchilada and I got cheese enchilada, and my friend a chicken enchilada. They were very good, came with rice, refry beans, sour cream and guacamole. The complimentary chips and salsa were also very good. When we got our bill, the pitcher of sangria was $40.00! Remember, the pitcher was awful looking, so for $40, it should be served in a nicer pitcher! There are no prices printed for any of their drinks, so asked. Overall, I’d go back.More

TripAdvisor usually gets it right. Not this time. Place was empty when we arrived-first clue. Food was decent. Bill arrived, charged us crazy prices for drinks. My large Margarita was 22 bucks. No drink prices listed. Just food prices. Boo my Espanol speaking friends!! Avoid...this place. Disappointed. Family of 5More

We had a great time eating here. Plenty of selection and variety and there are a lot of different surprises in the taco section. The salsas taste good and the food is flavorful. It is surprising how accommodating they were for us. They made a...fresh made guacamole for my wife who can't eat onions right now and the left them out. Fantastic job on that. I would not quite call it Mexican food, maybe Tex-Mex, but it was definitely delicious. If we're down here again, we'll be back!More

We stumbled across this restaurant after not being able to get into El Centro further down on Wisconsin Ave in Georgetown. My husband had Arrachera, which is a type of steak. He thought it was great. I had a white fish (flounder) ceviche, which was...the best I have had among all area restaurants (including in Northern Virginia).. The service was prompt, responsive and friendly. It was a pleasant and memorable experience. We'll be recommending this place!More

The food was wonderful. I ordered a steak fajitas meal with beans, rice, pico de gallo and guacamole. My husband and children enjoyed the food too. It’s a cozy place to eat. I love the location as well. It is in Georgetown near all the...shopping areas.More

Only been there once and liked the Los Quates special with 2 enchiladas and one taco that I had. Note that Happy Hour ends at 6pm. However, with so many restaurants in this area it is likely we will try another restaurant... More
