For some years I have been getting whole chicken and sides for dinner at home, it is moist, nicely seasoned, and comes with all sorts of side choices. Service is snappy an they have a few tables to eat in. There are online ways to...order in advance.More

According to a recent Washington Post article, this place is supposed to have the best Peruvian chicken in the area. I disagree. Ordered a platter of the dark meat, with sides of rice and fried plantains. The portion of the chicken they gave was quite...small. The skin was way too salty. I prefer any of the rotisserie chickens offered at our local grocery stores than what I had. The two sides were okay but nothing special to go out of the way for.More

Enjoyed the Combination grill dish with 1/4 Peruvian chicken (good, well seasoned, soft and juicy), steak (good with onions and green peppers) and chorizo (so, so, dry). My wife enjoyed Caesar salad with chicken. Ate outside.

If you love the crisp roasted Peruvian Chicken, you have to try this shop. It is a counter order place with great food. There are a variety of chicken platters, sandwiches and other dishes. Try the Chaufa rice if you like fried rice but with...a Peruvian twist. Salads are good served with chicken. They have great sides including fries, beans and rice, yucca, potato salad, and coleslaw. There are tables both inside and out.More

This was one of the best roasted chicken meals I have ever had. The skin was crisp and cracking, perfectly seasoned, and the meat was juicy and flavorful. I was happy to see a tall stack of lump wood charcoal bags in the back, no...gas grills here. The plantains were a perfect counterpoint to the savory chicken with creamy texture and crisp fried crust, amazingly not greasy.. All the food was steaming hot and fresh tasting. At lunch on a Saturday the small dining room was filled with local workmen who chatted with the staff, Very inexpensive--skip the KFC and Chick Fil A--this is the real deal. Close to Metro and American University. Less than $10 per person .More

Crisp and Juicy is just a modest restaurant that happens to serve the tastiest and least expensive chicken in DC. If you're looking for quality and value, this is the place you want to go!

Great Peruvian food. Made to order and chicken is well done. Options are affordable and tasty. The staff are very nice and welcoming. I would eat there again and highly recommend it. Note it has a small seating area so don't go here for ambiance...or for a romantic lunch/dinner. The yucas (yams) were perfectly made. Simply go there for great food!More

We ordered carry out and the place at 1pm was buzzing with people. Although they had a little difficulty in getting my credit card to work, it finally went through and the good news is that's when they started to get the food together so...this food wasn't just sitting in containers for a while. We had the chicken, beans and rice and fried yuca and everything was delish! The chicken was tender and still moist and the yuca fries were crispy after I warmed them up in a toaster oven.More
