Loved this bar, really friendly staff and bartender and AMAZING one of a kind drinks. I agree it’s a little expensive but you really are paying for craftsmanship and you can see the thought that goes into all the drinks. I would definitely come back...and recommend to all my friends.More

So we went with some friends we didn't have even the time to go in that a Girl outside Rude very Rude answer to us telling to wait... She talk to me which I didn't understand what she said before because I was trying to...understand where was the entrance, anyway she said if my behavior was like this she will not let us inside of HER BAR! And she talk the same to other guys where after us... Like is top10 bar in the World.... I really love to see how she will speak to her Coovorkes. Never will be back.. I work in hospitality for 10 years and I never get answers like this. Very Sad.More

Entrance is 5 star because it looks sketch. Unfortunately the drinks don’t back that up. Admittedly, I go to speakeasies because I am looking for off the menu cocktails. Otherwise I would go to a bar. My cocktail was imaginative but not good. Unfortunately, good...is a requisite component. That said, for a younger crowd new to cocktails this might be a great spot.More

This place is crack cocktails done right. Thoroughly impressed with every drink we had. There was a huge crowd outside Friday evening but we managed to pass the door quicker than most. Don't be shy to order off the menu or describe what you're looking...for. My personal fav? The De Louisiane.More

This place is outstanding for true artisan craft cocktails. I’m always impressed with the skills of their bartenders who truly relish their craft. Get to know them and they’ll whip you up something fantastic! I love very the care they put into creating their own,...fresh tinctures, butters, and steeped mixtures.More

Heard/found this place after a tour of different spots on 14th at work. Went back to actually spend time there. It wasn't as much of a speakeasy vibe as I heard but still a small, cozy vibe for drinks at happy hour or a later...night happy hour. Drinks were unique but delicious.More

It's a small bar above a dry cleaner without a jello shot, cans of beer or sports broadcast TV in sight. And it was wonderful. The bar runs almost the full length of the narrow space and there are a few small tables with seating....The bartenders know their stuff, will make recommendations or take on a challenge, can be chatty or will leave you space for conversation with your sidekick. Drinks are typical big city pricing which for some will seem on the high side. I had the Slainte Mule ($14), Glendalough Irish Whiskey, ginger syrup, lime and soda. Refreshing, mood enhancing without too heavy of a hand with the alcohol. We were there early in the evening with only a few other people at the bar, according to the bartenders 10:30+ things get pretty crowded. Perfect place for an after work or pre-dinner drink. Drinks only, no food available.More

With the cocktail boom happening now it is getting very difficult to find a place with quality drinks, bartenders, and space. Left Door is the perfect oasis away from all the "wannabe" mixologists and crowded bars. These guys really know what they are doing and...all with a big smile. They are by far some of the most courteous bartenders I have met in a while. The fact that they do not blare the music means that they want to hear what you have to say, not drown out your requests. I definitely recommend this spot as a First Date kinda place. Enjoy amazing cocktails and hear one another. CHEERSMore
