My family and I had a 7:00 PM reservation, yet we were not seated until 8:00 PM. It was worth the wait! The food is incredible. It is really fresh, farm to table food and the the prices are very reasonable. I had the plank salmon. It was delicious, not fishy at all. The plank had salt and the salmon... More

I have been to Founding Farmers many times. The atmosphere is great, but really loud. It feels like a party. The food is both interesting and good. Our waiter was very nice job. We were a party of 10, and he was fun.

Totally go. All the food is delicious. They have a rotating beer list. Their tea is yummy. I got the avacado burger and my friend got the chicken pot pie. SO GOOD! And not that expensive usually between $12-17.

We went there for breakfast and it was nothing short of AMAZING! The pancakes are delicious and my husband LOVED the Crab Benedict. We can't wait to go back for dinner!

This is a great place to visit late at night. We ordered a few items off their menu to share and we ended up really full and very satisfied. The farmbread prosciutto is packed with flavor in every bite. The farmhouse platter had a baby burger ( the burger was really juicy and had a lot of flavor ), chili... More

Came here on a Saturday morning for brunch with some friends. Was astounded when the bill was only $40 for two of us including nice coffee drinks, two entrees and an app split. The menu is pretty simple but really seemed to fit my cravings for brunch. Overall, had a great experience. Very affordable but definitely not cheap.

Service was great. Our whole party was not together at the time of our reservation but they sat us down so we could order as we had tickets to a show at the Kennedy Center. Food was Delicious and they were able to accommodate our gluten free requirements. Staff were excellent !!!!

I had a reservation made for my wife's 25th B-Day. We were astounded by their fast service and friendly staff! The foods were out of this world flavorful!! Can't get any better than this wonderful restaurant in the D.C. Area! If you are visiting from out of town like we did, this is a MUST stop. You won't be let... More

Founding Farmers, the Greenest Restaurant in DC, is owned by the more than 40,000 family farmers of the NDFU, serving American inspired real food and drink with an emphasis and focus on cooking from scratch. While our restaurant is supplied by hundreds of family farms everywhere, that doesn't mean we know every farm, and that doesn't mean we never have to buy product from the traditional (corporate) supply chain, but it does mean we're working hard to direct our purchasing dollars where it aligns with our values. We're serving the best food we can, made from scratch in our kitchens every day. Our innovative, American dishes are made primarily with pure ingredients honoring the farmers and their hard-earned bounty.
