Very authentic French bistro, very tight and cozy. A veritable hole in the wall. Reasonably diverse menu full of French classics - moules, hanger steak, frites, duck confit, sole, beef stew, plats du jour, fromage, etc. great wines. Prices are reasonable for D.C. area. Reservations a must, and don't plan on bringing the kiddies or extended family, this place is... More

We enjoyed an early NYE dinner with friends at this lively and consistently high quality bistro. Menu was intriguing and appealing. Service is friendly, brisk and efficient, always offering good recommendations. We will definitely return.

This has been a favorite eatery for frequent brunches and occasional dinners. Began the most recent brunch with onion soup, deeply flavored broth with nicely browned gruyere crust, and the heirloom beet salad accented with blue cheese. Buckwheat crepe with moist salmon, topped with a soft, fried egg was delicious. Eggs benedict were perfectly poached with a well-made Hollandaise. The... More

This is one of my favorite restaurants. It is small and noisy so we often go early. We always make reservations. My husband loves the mussels. I always get a he beet salad and hangar steak for dinner and leek quiche for lunch.

A tight bu pleasant place, if more than 2 some will have to sit on a banquette. service is mediocre, split between someone that takes the order and a lesser waiter that brings the food without knowing who gets what, and removes plates without having learned how to tell that parallel utensils mean the person is done. Food is quite... More

A small intimate spot, very good food and wine choices. Escargot and desserts were wonderful. I ordered the sole, it said "market price." I thought, how expensive could sole be? Other entrees are in the mid $20 range. When the bill came and it was $48 I almost fell off my chair, especially since it was overcooked. But, we had... More

We recently moved to the area. On a typical Friday night, we were looking for a good place to have dinner with the family. Et Voila proved to be a very pleasant surprise. My wife and I shared the pate de campagne. She then had the cavatelli au confit d'agneau. I asked the waiter to recommend me moules: he brought... More

Very good and great service. Liked the eggs Benedict with salmon and egg sandwich. We've been a number of times and it's always good

Always great food. Superior! Great to have in the hood. One the most consistent restaurants I have ever been to.

An overwhelming neighborhood favorite for Belgian bistro food--famous for French quality and German quantity. Normally totally jammed to the point of discomfort but pretty quiet on a mid-August Thursday. First rate mussels in various versions, a solid beef stew simmered in beer, and a super-fancy stuffed trout that tasted great but looked like a fat polish sausage In brown gravy.... More
