Visited this place twice. I like the Miso Chicken Ramen--it was a bit salty for me, but it was quite good. Will try the Fried Chicken Platter next time. The portion size is pretty big. Is this the best ramen place in DC, probably not,...More

There is something very wrong with management of this restaurant. I's hard to explain otherwise how the staff could be so rude and unpleasant to customers across the board. The hostess was counting money when we arrived and refused to acknowledge us for several minutes,...More

My wife and I went here last night. For a Friday night at 8 o’clock it was amazing to get a table right away and once we ordered, our food was out in about five minutes. The restaurant was fairly packed and even so the...More

We have been here twice now while in DC. The first time was right after returning from a trip to Japan in July. The broth (a couple to choose from) has a nice flavor and they offer several add ins. The first time I added...More

It was only a 15-20 minute wait at Bamtam compared to an hour wait at Daikaya Izakaya which is around the corner. So we spent the time wandering around the Museum of Buildings across the street and has an amazing atrium area with huge columns...More

Ate here since the sister restaurant had a wait list. Funky atmosphere, small menu. Ok ramen that was nothing special, but expensive. Asked for some spice to add to bowl and they charged 0.75 for it. Unfortunately, not many choices in DC for Asian.

I have to admit that I’m predisposed to like ramen since it’s one of my favorite categories of food. This ramen is a little different because the broth is chicken based. So if you’re all about the beef broth, remember this will be different. I...More

Thought I'd try a local oriental restaurant as it was my last night in Chinatown. I ordered the fried chicken which claimed to be a fusion of southern fried chicken with oriental spices... well the chicken was average, you could tell what they were trying...More

We loved this place. They don't offer a ten page menu full of too many different things. They do only several things, but they do them very, very well. As this was our first visit, we really appreciated our super friendly server who carefully explained...More

Visited with co-workers for lunch. We were able to sit 10 people at one table comfortably. Fried chicken was the preferred meal. Drippings on rice a good option. Ice cream is good.

I think they just started doing takeout not long ago and believe you can use UberEats to get some. :)
