Found this place on Yelp. It's a dope spot. Great lighting and overall vibe. Food. came out at great time and was slammin! The crab cake burger and the Sweet and Salty Grilly are delicious. If I didn't have to leave I would've ordered more!...Hoping to come back on my next visit to NYC. I think they have outdoor seating also.More

Horrible. Overpriced, weak drinks....and I ordered doubles. Screaming babies next to me. I closed my tab and ordered a last drink for my bf and I. I spent $200 in an hour and tipped well. As soon as I signed the receipt the waiter tried...to force us out, with fresh full drinks. I said I would leave when finished, the owner came out saying he wanted to give the table to others. After he got my coins. 10 more minutes wasnt unreasonable. Real racist, misogynistic, transphobic air there. No thanks. BTW- it says "black owned" here but a very entitled white guy told me he was the owner. Something is real shady about that. 👀 Also, the "food" was glorified white trash trailer food. $17 grilled cheese? No thanks. Deviled eggs (ewww) I will NEVER go back. Pick someplace else.More

A fun Speakeasy-themed bar, the entrance was below street level, with a door without any marking. We arrived shortly after they opened, so it was quiet. But, it did get busy shortly after. The décor was interesting to say the least. I would say, reminiscent...of oldies with matching music. The music is a little too loud though. We were there for some craft cocktails and a small bite. We ordered The Funkadelic and Modern Day Mind Eraser. The Funkadelic is their “not so secret” Lava Lamp Cocktail. It came in a container that looks just like a lava lamp!!! How fun! Very strong, flavorful Pisgo & Tonic cocktail. Modern Day Mind Eraser is known as Boozy Bong, as it came in a bong container. Super cool! It was citrusy and minty, and again, strong! Very tasty! The little snack of choice was Fried Goat Cheese Balls. It had super crispy exterior, with crumbly goat cheese in the inside. Nice accompaniment to tasty drinks. The staffs here were really nice and friendly, and they sure know how to make some strong, flavorful, and unique cocktails! I would love to go back for more of their craft cocktails and tasty bites in a new future!More
