I made a stop here to try the so called canchanchara and very disappointed. This is mainly honey and lemon because the aguardiente rum if they put in my drink it was tw drops.I thought the slaves used to drink this to be ready and brave...but I dont think this was it.The place is nice and there is a store inside which I could get some cigars. This guy making t he cigars there very nice and professional ,that is a real plus attraction there.More

Lovely place for a taste of the local Canchanchara - clearly a well used coach party stop, but plenty of room to have a sit and rest from the heat. Local music jamming session just added to the background. Loved it!

The la Canchanchara is a must when visiting Cuba. Not because of the food but because of the famous la Canchanchara Cocktail which is a special delight which needs a try. Also service and music is great!

The rooftop offers a great view and nice life music. Go there for a cocktail but don't expect too much on the food: we found much better elsewhere

Lovely place, music evenings, but most head here to try the infamous drink CanChanchera (emphasis on 2nd syllable). Served in a small pottery cup, you need to STIR it before drinking....if you try it before the honey has dissolved....yuck! Keep stirring....as a rum lover, I...enjoyed it....but there are other rum specialties that I found better. No food here, but our waiter took us to a small place down the street that was lovely.More

Our guide knew many places and this was a must to visit. Good classic drink, as well music and dancers were in the bar to entertain. It's a tourist spot but worth the visit

We went for a famous drink canchanchara cocktail and liked it a lot. They put honey and rum, before you drink you mix it. The band was nice and enjoyable even in the morning. There is a small shop you can buy rums, cigars etc.

We tried Canchancharas at different places but we found the best ones here. Yes it's what it's know for and yes it's more expensive than other bars but I wasn't bothered as it was a nice place to sit and sip on an enjoyable cocktail.
