Very good food. Disgusting atmosphere. A restaurant made for tourists only. With security guards around. American music and... Chains from slaves and other torture weapons on walls for decoration. I wasn't sure if I am in Cuba for a moment. Felt bad for following my...friend's there. The carnival costumes from the stuff also looked awkward.More

Nice drinks, good atmosphere. You can have a lot of fun here. Especially with live music from “Trio sonriendo”.

We have been recommended this restaurant in Trinidad and it's really one of the best experiences we had in Cuba. Atmosphere, service and food were excellent ! The chef went to greet the table and asked us any advice to improve...honestly Cuba is not reknowed...for its gastronomy but do not hesitate to book a table at "la Botija" if you have the chance to stop by this beautiful city of Trinidad !More

Great vibe, excellent live music, decent food and reasonable prices. We decided to give this place a try while in Trinidad, Cuba...we were actually staying one night in a Casa directly in front of it. We could hear the music from the Casas terrace and...figured why not. We enjoyed our evening and would certainly recommend it to others. The place has a great vibe to it!More

Fun atmosphere for sure. Lots of big group and tourists. The live music was fantastic and the staff put on a show with their dancing. The food maybe caters to tourists with familiar burgers and nachos. Our Cuban guide had never heard of nachos before...but we went with guava and cheese taquitos to start. Fresh and flavourful but maybe not with a pesto mayo dip. Burgers and tacos were ok but I regretted not going with a typical Cuban entree - maybe be would have been better? Go for the drinks and the music but wouldn’t recommend the food.More

Great meal, with enormous portions and great prices. Excellent cocktails (best mojito I had in Cuba). And live music all the time. Hot tip: SHARE! We shared a single serving of lamb, and it was plenty for 2 people. It may depend on when you...go (we got there around 830 pm), but we experienced a fun, bumping tavern ambience moreso than a fine dining type of experience. Both serving staff and customers were dancing between the tables and it was total fun chaos. Make sure you set aside one night in Trinidad to go to La Botija - it is well worth the climb to the top of the hill!More

We had the most amazing time in Trinidad. The food is very delicious, they have a good variety, just as well the coctails. They have live music every night. The service is outstanding, the waitresses are kind a helpful.

Popular restaurant with good food. They served our tour group of 14 with no problem – moved some tables together. Large assortment of food – I had a burger for 7.5 and a pina colada for 3.0 and they were fine. The pizzas were enormous...and looked like thin-crust NY style. Mostly clean, but had to swat away flies. The staff was nice, but service was a bit erratic – some got food quickly and others were waiting a long time.More
