I asked for something gluten free but all I was offered was a cold chicken salad (an a cold wintery day) or a $22 gluten free pizza. (Rather expensive compared with other Marlborough cafes). I had hoped to have a toasted sammie and fries - but no gluten free bread and the chips were seasoned (which was not gluten free).... More

My wife and I went out for dinner here and selected the John Dory and chips c/w salad and the chicken burger and chips. We thought the meals were great, no issues at all and well priced too. During daytime I would imagine there would be great views of the wharf but we went there at night time. Friendly staff,... More

Lovely down time at the end of the day, good eatery and reasonable wine list. Charming friendly hostess.

Great for a long lunch the day we were there. Even though it was very busy, nothing was a problem and we sat and soaked up the view while waiting for our meal, which was very good indeed. If you are prone to the odd sandfly bite, don't worry, the insect repellant is available on request!

We had lovely morning coffees sitting in the sun right on the water's edge -- so peaceful. Then we returned late afternoon for a couple of quiet drinks watching the sunset over the marina. We enjoyed a very scrumptious Pizza from the restaurant. Service was faultless and friendly.

Meals were generous, the blue cod was nice as was the steak although it had to be sent back as was not cooked to request. The apple crumble was nice but the ice cream sundae was budget ice cream. The lady behind the bar and the waitress were lovely.

Bad attitude from the grumpy barman. waited over 1.5 hours for mediocre badly cooked food, that is only frozen and then deep fried, could taste the old oil. some others waited over 2 hours.

My friend and I called in for a coffee. We had to shout before a staff member dawdled out of the kitchen and told us to wait for the other guy! Then, the other guy came out. Unfriendly service. Made us feel that we were there solely for his convenience. Guess that arrogance comes from being the only ones at... More

We came in and got a decent take-away pizza at this place. Even on a cold evening, it had a lively bar scene full of locals and rugby fans.

We arrived here in time for an early lunch, having walked here we were quite hungry. There was a weird guy sitting down near the counter who got up and served us when we arrived. There was a large blackboard sign saying ask about our coffee and muffins, which I did and he looked shocked and said we don't have... More
