Great value for money. Ordered maca and żurek, both very good, french fries on side also great value. Fresh polish beer Perła from tap, highly recommended!

very good food, all fresh and tasty (even though I might not be a huge fan of Israeli cuisine- some composition surprised me a bit like carrot and the cinnamon) however the duck broth with lovage won that day

Very good freshly cooked food and nice staff

We went there for dinner with 7 members of our family. The place was nice and clean with old style decorations and photos. On the menu you could find few interesting jewish meals, I've ordered "kreplach"- dumplings stuffed with meat served with carrots and some kind of pasta. Everything was well presented and freshly cooked. My family was very content after they finished. We've ordered 2 starters, 7 main meals and about 10 bottles of drinks (it was very hot day),we've paid about £60. Staff there is very polite and helpful especially young waiter who served us. Restaurant is few steps away from popular Rynek (market place).

Outstandingly poor quality of food especially compared to what else is available in the town. We were recommended this restaurant but it didn't live up to expectations. I took one bite of the goose meat and didn't touch it again. Tasted like a mouthful of cinnamon or nutmeg. Potato wedges were served instead of roast potatoes. Looked as if it was frozen potato wedges from the local supermarket. Just cheap and nasty, no effort put into the food. Don't eat here.

Expensive, after my recent visits to mountain resorts, I cannot say that the prices here are exaggerated. For example, in the (Polish) mountains, pork chop with roasted potatoes and a set of salads PLN 35. and here it's PLN 36. for the cutlet itself, without potatoes and a set of salads, for which you have to pay an additional PLN 21! Total PLN 57. "Hairdresser", if it's possible in the mountains and it's really tasty (I have demanding taste), why can't it be done in Kazimierz?

unique place with tasy dishes

We really wanted to specially visited this restaurant. The service was very good, the staff friendly, smiling and the dishes were delishious. Really finger licking.. As it started to rain we extended our stay and enjoyed perfect warm wine and warm honey. Delicious!!!!!!!

Full of cigarettes smoke

The interior is nicely decorated, however the cooks were smoking cigarettes in the kitchen and the restaurant filled with smoke. For someone that doesn't smoke it's very unpleasant to eat breathing in cigarettes. We asked the waitress about it and she admitted they are smoking in the back but did not offer any solution or apology. The food was average and I lost my appetite imagining people cooking and smoking at the same time. Although we wanted to pay in polish zloty we were charged in pounds and were told the transaction went through and can't be cancelled. I felt lack of love and care. Wouldn't go there again, there are much nicer places to eat in Kazimierz.

Its ok but not great

The place looks nice and clean, and the service was really nice and quick, but the food was just decent. We had a nice beef tartare, this one was very good and with a funny presentation :-) the egg comes in a wine glass ;-), then some potato pankakes, and some meat pierogis and they were very basic. But we liked the atmosphere and the place itself, and really very kind waitersses.

Huge disappointment!

Decided to visit 'U fryzjera' for a breakfast with the family. We were actually one of the very first guests that morning. First thing I noticed - prices in the menu were at least 1-4 pln higher then on their website. Also there is a part of the menu described as Jewish Cuisine. Maybe I’m odd type of jew myself, but for first time ever I saw in that menu a quite few ‘jewish’ dishes with a pork :) Anyway, we've placed the orders: one full breakfast set, poached eggs, pancakes, coffee, juices. As I'm vegetarian, specifically asked twice to hold the ham. Plenty of staff walking around - at least 3-4 waiters, but for some reasons guests who arrived at least 15-20 minutes after us received their orders long before us (everyone was ordering practically the same stuff). Food started arriving around 35-40 minutes later. Poached and scrambled eggs were cold. And obviously the breakfast set came with a ham pork sticked between the cheese, so I politely asked the waiter to take it away and bring specifically what we’ve ordered. Around 10 minutes later she came back with the exactly same plate - meat was fished out from the meal :) To summarise, service was unfortunately not too good, but the food was much worse. We’ve paid around 70 pln and left very disappointed. Next time we will certainly avoid this place.

Very tasty and good regional and also Jewish cuisine

There is very tasty, good regional and Jewish cuisine here. The service is fast, the friendliness very dependent on the basement. When I was there, a young waitress was very friendly, polite and courteous. The older one did a bit of an unmotivated job. The wooden house in which the restaurant is located offers a romantic atmosphere and on warm days you can also find space in the garden.

Kolejna wizyta U Fryzjera i jak zawsze jedzenie przepyszne, obsługa świetna, nalewki fantastyczne i atmosfera. Polecam i wkrótce znowu odwiedzę / Another visit to the restaurant U Fryzjera and as always food was delicious, service splendid, atmosphere great and the selection of local liqueurs fantastic. I'll be back soon and would definitely recommend again
