We were not sure whether the place was open since the information on the TripAdvisor app stated that the place was closed. We still decided to go, and voila IT WAS OPEN:) We ordered some delicious breakfast - the continental one is highly recommended, and...at the end we bought the famous rooster. It can be bought almost anywhere in Kazimierz Dolny, however for 4 zlt. more, you really get a rooster of high quality here.More

The meals trout, golonka and even real good steack (what is difficult to find in Poland) were tasty as the fritki.More
“Piekarnia Sarzynski” means “Sarzynski Bakery”, but there are two businesses there: a bakery shop in the ground floor and a traditional restaurant at the upper floor. This bakery is a popular place in Kazimierz Dolny – one can expect to see there a long queue...of shoppers buying a special pastry in a shape of a rooster. However, they offer also other pastries and tasty bread. The restaurant seems to aim high but the accomplishments are not impressive – prices are rather high but meal and service are just average.More
This place is famous, it has been for years and everybody is popping in to buy a bread rooster. It is a sweet type of bread sculpture and you have a dilemma to keep it to show to friends or eat it. There is a...coffee shop too and a restaurant in the same building. You can buy in the bakery to take your food for a nice picnic or stay inside. I can recommend "kulebiak" a sort of sweet bun with bigos (cooked cabbage inside) it is delicious.More
