The service was almost ok, but still a bit slow. Unfortunately, the food was very poor. The Wiener Schnitzel was edible, but not properly flattened out. But the potatoes were really bad with no structure and the vegetables were not very creative. However, what makes me completely regret that I went to this place was the horrible lobster soup, which... More

We had fried plaice with lemon, mountain cranberries, potatoes and melted butter. It tasted good. The acoustics in the restaurant was terrible. Conversation was almost impossible. The staf was very friendly. Look for more reviews by MulleEllum.

We stopped in on a Friday night and they were busy and said there would be a wait. Another couple came in at the same time and the hostess asked if we would be willing to share a 6 person table between the four of us. That was a good solution for everyone concerned and with the space in the... More

We went for a Saturday night meal, no booking on a cold, rainy night in Skagen. The food portions were huge and the fish was fresh and delicious. The waiting staff were very friendly and attentive, even heating up and adding more soup to our bowls. A very enjoyable experience.

We were with a large group, they made a special lunch for us, I love experiencing local flavors and they even made some Crawfish for one of member of our party when they heard she was from Louisiana. I hope this is the correct restaurant, the picture sure looks like it!

Had the fried plaice with potatoes and cranberries. It was really good. Friendly staff and good service. I can also recommend the Apple cake wich was a lot like veiled peasant girls. Payed 1 075DKK for 4 persons. (Dinner, beer and dessert)

My partner and I dined here after going past several other places that stank like smoke. The food was terrible I had fish soup the flavour was indescribably horrible. The seafood was overcooked and the mussels were chewy. To top it off the bread which was served with the soup was microwaved and as such in about five minutes it... More

We were nine people. Tree kids ordered child meny and the rest ordering the fishdishes of today. Soup as a starter and witch flounderas as a main dish. I asked if one wine was good and what it was like and the waiter answered of course it is good. Seemed like he knew nothing about the wines they served. It... More

We were delighted to stumble across this restaurant, tucked away in the backstreets of Skagen away from the harbour and much quieter, even at Sunday lunchtime. The lunchtime platter for 2 was exceptional value for money given the quality - course after course consisting of herring, plaice, roast beef and cheese (I know there was another course but I have...
