Went for a bike ride to Gl Skagen and dropped in at Ruth's Brasserie. Sat outside and had a wonderful 2 course dinner. Very friendly service and nice to see the CEO of the whole establishment on the floor doing service!! #realleadership

Ruths' Brasserie us the more casual restaurant in the hotel we always stay in when we come to Skagen. Lunch is great indoors or out. I love the Tomato Tarte. It's great with a glass of good Rhone red. The first day I had a mushrooms on toast special that was terrific. Dinner is lovely as well - I like... More

One can cycle down to GL Skagen from the town of Skagen.... It's quite a joyful ride ! Once in the area, one can see pretty little cottages lining the road....... Ruth's Brasserie is an elegant little cafe.... The interior is very tastefully done..... But even more tasteful is the food ! On a special request the lady conjured up... More

We loved Ruth's! I'm vegetarian so I'm never sure what to expect but it was delicious. My sister had the fish and it was one of her favourite meals ever. The ambiance is great and just around the corner there's a gorgeous view of the sunset. Highly recommended for a special date. ;)

We have been many times to Ruth's Brasserie and always enjoyed the excellent food in the nice setting of Ruth's hotel in the old village part of Skagen. This time , though, quality was mediocre. I had a fish soup that contained only one type of non descript fish, no croutons , no aioli, thin broth , only accompanied by... More

So so so impressed by the chefs! My husband and I went for a dinner in the brasserie during our stay at the hotel. We thought that its just a brasserie, food won't be that good, may be we should look around but actually, we were proven wrong. We started with some oysters, I think the freshest and most flavourful... More

A friend from Denmark advised us to go and have a coffee here. It was very nice: good atmosphere, beautiful furniture, great service and extraordinairy good coffee. Worth a detour!

Unfortunately, Ruth's Gourmet restaurant was closed on a Sunday but we thoroughly enjoyed their Brasserie with it's inventive menu, beautifully fresh ingredients, great wine list and pleasant, engaged servers. I had my first steak there as I'd been eating all fish previously and it was outstanding. Turns out the Danish grow great beef!

We had lunch at this idyllic brasserie in Gamle Skagen on a sunny (but windy) Saturday afternoon. The menu is mainly French with the odd Scandinavian touch, featuring e.g. foie gras and french game bird dishes. My wife and I had a lovely duck confit and our son a piece of white fish with fries. Blackcurrant sorbet, rhubarb trifle and... More
