Stopped for a coffee here while biking around Trebon region. Good coffee and a pleasant spot to sit.
This bistro on the main square is small by size, but very comfortable. Prices are quite acceptable for the middle of the small time, food is fine and with clean toilets, we have finished our positive experience. * good Zumberk beer and home-made cakes; *...possible reservations, barrier-free, card payment; * no gluten-free, no English version menu; * WiFi - bad electricity connection; * long waiting times, not accurate for larger groups.More
We stayed next door at the hotel and the square is just beautiful- we wanted something simple and I apologize up front- but NO CARP! realize this is a revered dish but I just can’t quite get past it - in to dinner! 2 glasses...of white wine 2 large beers 1 carp Caesar ( amazing fiancé had it & loved it; I did take 2 small bites & was pleasantly surprised) 1 pizza with mushrooms. Total cost: $21. Just amazing how reasonable prices are too. Don’t expect English menus or for the staff to understand English. We had a few phrases we used & the English-to-Czech Translator on the iPhone works wonders. Great patio seating. Dog friendly. A wonderful meal & friendly service. Wood burning pizza too!!More
We did not actually eat here, but we got coffee here a few times, and were very happy every time. The service is very good as well.
Staff did not pay any attention to us, only two other tables were taken. I went to the bar to order, the waitress stuffed her face wit a cake, looked at me and walked away. Pizza took over half an hour to arrive while everyone...else coming in after us got food served before us. Average taste and size at 160 Czech crowns (£6) for a pizza. Will not return.More
We have only been there for drinks and cakes, the service was average. We have been waiting for drinks long time, the cake was average.
On the first look this place looks nice. Stone oven, nice furnishing. On the second though, this place is a nightmare. The waiter who looked like 15 years old was completely out of his mind. He was not able to remember simple requests and everything took...him way too long. At the end we were at least hoping for a good pizza, however, when it arrived 45 minutes it was still not done. I can understand minor issues which may happen in a hurry but the place was half empty. Now I know why. I do not recommend and I am never going there again.More
They use a stone pizza oven. The crust is excellent. There are a lot of options to choose from. We tried basil, spinach; both were excellent. The salad with basil dressing was excellent also.
Good pizza in a nice and cosy place. Not expencive, clean, service was quick. We enjoyed a tranquil evening in Trebon.
What a shame, the pizza dough is made fresh but it'll come to your table undercooked and with terrible toppings. Try the pepperoni pizza for a laugh and enjoy the whole onion that comes with it. Could be great.
A nice pleasant place with nice stav were you can get light dinner. It is plavec directly on the main square of the town with a nice view over the square, prices are quite reasonable
This small bistro is located in the large Masarykovo square. We ended up here by accident due to a torrential downpour and need a place to wait it out. We ordered a salad with mozzarella and oranges which was very good and also shared a...burrito .. also nothing to complain about. The bad part was the ice coffee... it was sweltering 35 degrees C and when they brought out the coffees they told us the ice had run out. What? what makes this bad is that they did not try to offer us another beverage, so we had hot coffee instead. The atmosphere of the place is nice inside and out and the food is good. The service needs to be more customer focused though. Being on the main square, it is not a bad tourist trap to end up in.More
