Everything was a perfect. Service, food. Menu has not so much offers, but this typical regional Czech foods was excellent.

Great fish food, friendly staff. The restaurant is connected to the terrace with a long tunnel, but near is a small river and nice place to dinner. Service is fast, dishes fresh and tasty. Excellent fish and chicken, best of dinner was sweets. Very recommended...restaurantMore

We have ordered the "candat" fish, the most expensive on the menu and were really disappointed with the quality of the fish and the cooking done likewise. The fish was simply a small weird-shaped thing, full of bones, and was hard as a shoe box....very overbaked!!! uneatable, unchewable. Definitely would never repeat this place, nor we would recommend to anyone eating here, it was just an absurd experience which was very very expensive (almost 300CZK just for the fish), but a total waste. We left very disappointed, as such meal a teenager without cooking skills could do. Avoid! Look around Trebon for other restaurants for fish, where the dish looks amazing and tastes even better. And the price would be shocking = same price for a well done and decorated dish and our uneatable dry whatever it was... Such a shame places like this exist.More

A nice quiet restraunt just off the main square. Standard czech food but plentiful, good service and cheap. I also liked the background music - the Beatles

We've eaten in a number of restaurants in Trebon over the years (my husband is from the area) and this one surpassed the others. Very good traditional Czech menu with mainly fish and game options (so not for vegetarians) but standard of cooking was excellent...and there were some very deep flavours and great combinations of ingredients. We had between us - the fish soup (amazing), venison goulash (excellent depth of flavour), trout on pea puree (delicious), carp with an amazing potato salad and pork. All dishes excellent. Service was also very efficient and friendly.More

My sister-in-law chose this restaurant for its specialty, fried carp chips she had here several years ago. The four of us chose various dishes, my candat was delicious, the carp chips were hot and crunchy, exactly how my sister-in-law loves them. The portions of food...are only average. For a desert I chose fruit dumplings with poppy seeds, another delicious choice, although I would have liked a larger portion, these were ping pong ball size. I also did not like the small size of the dining rooms, so small everyone in the room can hear every word. Service was very efficient and pleasant.More

Truly a horrible place. The carpet on the floor, the decorations, the walls are so filthy, that it really puts you of eating there, as you can imagine how the kitchen looks like..... The food was disgusting, over salted soup made from cube, fried fish...stripes, that must have been fried hours before being served, as they were nothing like crispy..... The baby high chair falling apart, with sharp nails sticking out of this... and service? if you complain, they tell you, they are employees only and the kitchen is run be a kitchen school student, so he makes mistakes....WTF?. The smoking and non smoking area is basically one space, so the whole place stinks of smoke and fried oil... Please spend your money in better places.More

I like this restaurant for good price/quality ratio - fast service, excellent taste, fresh fish. I recommend without doubts.

Absolutely excellent food (but not modern, it is a bit greasy), you find here carp chips and very tasty fish soup. The interior is in 90s style with a lot of fish haul. We could stay there with a dos as well and with the...baby. But the restaurant has no special equipment for the babies.More

We are trying to find good, but not an excelent restaurant in Třeboň, and due to info from Tripadvisor we choose this one. I am not a fish gourmet, but my companions were satisfied so yes, food is good. Beer is average and I think...that everythink were going to be really good. But.. There were only one waitress, very very nice and willing, but she was not able to take care for all people.. due to overwork she order wrong food for ma aunt, so we have to wait for correct one, and there was no offer of price discount.. so.. food is good, personel is good, but..More

We took our Norwich Terrier with us to Trebon and were a bit worried if we would find somewhere for lunch where he would be allowed inside due to weather. We were pleasantly surprised when the staff let us bring him inside. The food was...great,my husband had some wild boar with "bramborak" and I had a carp (when in Trebon have some carp) with blue cheese sauce which was amazing. We had two coffees and one beer, the entire bill was only 481 Kc.More

We visited Myslivna for lunch in March 2016. We had carp in onion and sour cream sauce and carp baked in cumin. The fish was fresh but not seasoned to the bone, so the salt could be tasted only on the crust and there was...no trace of cumin taste. The interior was fishing and hunting-themed. The main hall was a bit too dark, with only two tiny windows, an artificial fireplace and an aquarium as the sources of light. The front hall was too cold. On a positive note the prices were low (135-150 Kč per dish) which was value for money. Given that we ordered from the regular menu, the service left nothing to be desired.More

I have visited this restaurant with my family three times during our visit to Trebon. It is a fish restaurant with nice outdoor seating. My kids loved a little pond with golden fish which they have been observing while waiting for a lunch... We didn't...have a high expectations about this place and went there because we wanted to get some simple food for a lunch. Finally we came back 2 more times because we enjoyed not only the food but also the service and the ambiance of the restaurant. I would describe it as Czech standart. Don't expect any high cuisine but good food for a good price. It is situated in the center of the town in the middle of a small side street. There is a great ice-cream shop next door, too :-)More

We have read few reviews of this place, but never had enough opportunity to visit it. During our new-year stay it had come the time to go. In fact we were not sure, what to expect, but we decided we had nothing to lose, so...give it a chance was a good idea in the end. The interior is ... somehow weird. There are rather tiny rooms, which may feel like something you don’t feel comfortable in sometimes, but I must say it was pretty clean and well maintained all around. I could imagine better looking decorations, but when there was no dirt or mess I was satisfied. Oh yes, you may get soaked with cigarette smoke inside. We did and there were only two other guests at the moment, one of them smoking. Nevertheless...the service was good I suppose. I fact I cannot remember it, but that’s good in the end – there was no problem with it. To be awesome it might be a bit more heart-warming, but I think this is enough here at the time we were there. The food. Good. Garlic soup was great in my eyes. It’s one of the easiest, but still very easy to be ruined by some artistic chef trying to show his skills in the wrong meal. My second was boar with rosehip sauce. That was good. For me a bit too sweet in the end, but I enjoyed the sauce as it was nice, glossy and shiny a full of rosehips. So in the end it was tasty late lunch in decent restaurant. So I suppose you will make no mistake coming here. Do not expect any gastronomic superb experience; do expect quality food for okay price you can enjoy.More
