Came for dinner w/o reservation. Restaurant was fully occupied, bud we managed it. Food delicios, staff fine. I enjoyed the dinner - my last day in Trebon. Restairant furbished in style of alchymist. I can fully recommend.

After two years we went back to this tavern, all is still great. Nice service, great food quality, friendly wine and very friendly staff. Really good dinner.

Quite an usual place to eat however the food is good. The service was ok. Its a bit weird when you walk in but quite relaxed and fun. It was quite busy so expect the service to be a little slower at these times.

Great place with unique ambiance and attention to details. Very friendly and careful staff. Really enjoyed it! And they open till 23, not so usual for Třeboň. Don’t forget to google the history of this place - it’s exciting :)

Visited in August 2018, nice place and very good food. Prices are reasonable, friendly place for kids also. I recommend during summer to make a reservation for your table.

This place has a style. The interior reminds an alchemist cellar, with tubes filled with colorful liquids and magical symbols drowned on the walls. All dishes have special medieval-like names. The food is also served in a way to be nice to look at. And,...most importantly, it tastes delicious.More

I think this is the most beautifull pub I visited. I love to drink beer and eat good, and here you can fount both, good beer and good foods. The place is a medieval bulding, and the decoration on the walls remember the Middle Ages....Even the staff has tipical chlothes. Soflt ligt. The price of beer and food is not so expensive. On the walls there are immage of Edward Kelley, famous alchemist of Trebon.More

Located in the cellar of the castle at Trebon, this eatery has a bit of ancient ambiance. We were with a group and served carp fried in butter accompanied with the ever-present potato. The area is famous because of the carp hatchery and farming lakes....The regular menu includes many different choices.More

We have been there once but the stuff is not friendly. We didn't have reservation there which worked once but the other two times we tried the staff behaved rude which looked like they are unable to handle the amount of people who are interested...in this place.More

We were lucky to get once table last week and there is no reason to do not recommend it. Restaurant with nice atmosphere and good food. I tried beef steak and it was very good (done a little bit more then medium-rare) served with good...vegie. Beer is from small probably local brewery, good but not the best . Make sure you make a reservation as you cant get table atvthe evening without it.More

Enchanting atmosphere at the entrance to the castle garden. The interior is lit with candles, however there is no daylight. I recommend visiting during night time - that's when the atmosphere is at its best. Fast and kind service. All the meals are splendid so...you can't go wrong with the choice. The only bad thing about our visit was when we found out they don't accept cards for payment. Luckily, there is an ATM about 3 minutes walk from the restaurant.More

If you wanna try medieval you're right. Please try eel, zander you will be absolutely satisfied and on side try just plain cooked unpeeled potatoes - amazing!!! For drink go for mead. They have also great prices.
