Delicious food, great bartender with sense of humor and our baby boy was very happy as he has got a lolly pop which was really nice from the bartender. I can only suggest to visit this place and if I will travel around I will...come again.More

Very well-hidden behind the Orange store on the square, Planeta does the best breakfast in Levoca! Very friendly staff, very varied menu (the cocktails look great!), English-speaking, English and German menus, comfortable and stylish space, what more could you want? Next time I'm trying their...cakes :)More

This place was great. I had the dumplings which were amazing. The server was friendly and the prices were very good. It is both good for a full meal, or if you just want to stop for a quick bite and grab a beer.

Just a couple of steps away from main square this small cafeteria is a good choice for breakfast and lunch. Excellent and strong espresso, good local beer, try the traditional dishes. Very friendly english- and german speaking service. Recommended!

On the South side just off the main square. This cafe is very casual, and the staff are friendly. There is an English-language menu. The food is so-so. Lots of choice, which is good. It takes a while so don't go if you're in a...rush. We both had pasta around €4-5 eur. The taste was ok for a budget meal but the egg/cream in the carbonara curdled!More

We came here for some drinks on Friday evening. It was the only place open on the main square in Levoca. An okay experience, nice staff though the wait for the first round of drinks took some time. Quite a lively atmosphere given how dead...the rest of the city centre was, which was appreciated. Haven't tried the food as the kitchen was already closed.More

Used this place a couple of times, as needed decent internet access, coffee was good, also I tried the fried cheese which was massive, but came with salad so didn't feel too guilty for eating it. Owner was friendly and decor was cool.

When this place first opened it had a certain charm but now is a run down and shabby hole that is over priced and with rude service. The surly ever present owner doesn't help much either. If you feel like paying €20 for a €4...bottle of wine, this is the place for you. There are several far nicer places in town.More

Planeta Levoca used to be a bar that served food - we have been coming here since 2006. Now it is THE meeting place in Levoca for locals to drink coffee, eat cake or eat the amazingly great value lunches... more later. Tourists are always...welcome as the proprietor, Milan better know as Micky, and several of his staff speak a variety of languages and have a natural charm which builds the great atmosphere. There are two levels to the restaurant, then ground floor, usually dominated by working locals and the upper balcony which is usually the preserve of Levoca's burgeoning cafe-society youth. Today, we had the 'locals' lunch menu which consisted of garlic soup with sheep's cheese and croutons, followed by seared chicken breast with salad and chips... all for €3.30 each. Most locals don't drink alcohol with lunch as Slovakia has zero tolerance to drink driving, but we were on foot and still the bill only came to €8.30. So, what you get is: really good honest food, charming service and the rare sense of feeling at home in a foreign bar/restaurant. They do not serve meals in the evening, when Planeta Levoca becomes a great bar with a few snacks on offer and more local colour than is good for you. It's a really super place and we will return time and time again.More
