The restaurant is located near the Cathedral. The food was good and the service was ok. The waiter was polite and helpful.

We had a family dinner there. Soup (garlic) was a bit too thin - was average. But haluski were very good, dumplings were very good, crowd check and fries were also tasty. To mention (and repeat as I see this in other reviews) - waiter...is very competent and friendly. Overall very nice dinner.More

Our group literally flooded this place each evening while we were staying there, but that one waiter stood his ground with a heroic attitude. Plus, he speaks every language. Food is a little heavy though, prepare your stomach! (or mine is just too weak)

Someone can call interior old-fashioned, for somebody it's shoddy...Food represents a good compromise between the price, quality, etc. What's outstanding is a way you're taken care. You remember old movies when waiters were polite, made sure you're satisfied, were as they are supposed to be?...This is the case and the reason, why i'd go there again. For the people.More

Reštaurácia U 3 Apoštolov was an average spot for lunch in every aspect. Prices were just okay for passable food that wasn’t worth writing home about. Beef soup (without the beef) and filet mignon stroganoff resembled a school cafeteria meal. Service wasn’t slow nor efficient...and apathetic.More

We arrived on a Saturday afternoon, around 3 pm. Lunchtime was already over, nobody else were in the restaurant, only the waiter. He was friendly and fast, but did not speak too much English. Anyway, the menu contained English translations, so we did not have...any difficulties with ordering. We wanted something special traditional Slovakian dish, so we ordered the cabbage-sausage soup and pork fillet with strapachky noodles, cabbage, and bacon. Both was delicious! The smoked bacon was the crown on the king's head:) Interior is very nice, and we had a good table at the window, so we had nice panorama on the main square too. Paying with card was no problem, but I suggest you to be prepared with some cash for the tip!More

Restaurant at the main square of this beautiful town. Surprisingly nice and interesting interior. I have tried typical local meals- garlic soup, trout with mandles and beer. The service has been very pleasant and fast, all very tasty and the bill 8 Euro only. I...wish I could try other meals from their long menu. Strongly recommended!More

Beautifull old restaurant, like how it was for long time. Very nice servicing, classic style. I love that. But the cook need another job. Order safe and take a schnitzel or biftek tartar, but forget the salat better. Good housewine for small price.

We stopped into Levoca en route between the High Tatras and Budapest. We arrived into town after dark on an off season weeknight and found Restauracia u 3 Apostolov the old fashioned way, by hitting the street and looking around. The upstairs location made us...a bit nervous so we sent a scout up to have a look. The place was empty—it was late—but the proprietor there was ready to serve and did a fantastic job explaining the menu, which is classic but impressively varied, and providing recommendations. We loved the service and found the recommendations charming and right on. Ultimately the food was good but not excellent. Same for the wine. But the prices were just fine too. The enchantment of arriving late into town and finding a genuinely charming restaurateur is one of the reasons I like to travel and more than reason enough to offer a positive review.More

If you want to know what eating out was like in the seventies - try the 3 Apostles. Service was charming, dining room overlooking the square was lovely, food was terrible. Enjoy.

Good food, great location, excellent service. We have been here with our 3 small kids 10 years ago. We were treated like kings. Coming back 2 days ago we felt the same. The waiter was kind, spoke min. 8 languages with the internationsl guests. After...10 years were served by the same waiter! The food is traditional Slovak food, properly cooked and served in a sort of 19th century setting, hard wood floor, bordeaux curtains, white table clothes.More

All the things considered, excellent evenings. Really nice and friendly service. Food tastes very good and the amounts are huge. Very very cheap, which makes it impressive value for your money. Menu also in English, but the font is horrible. Difficult to read. Otherwise no...improvement ideas. Very recommendable!More
