I went to Trakai with my foreign relatives and have chosen 'Kybynlar' as the most traditional Karaim restaurant of Trakai according to the advertisements. Unfortunately, it was not the best choice in Trakai: overpriced, small and not tasty kibinai, not the most welcoming staff, and, after all, a smelly WC. There are definitely better places in Trakai to eat kibinai!

The food was great, I can recommend especially these dishes which come from the Karaim's kitchen. Great teas too. Very good space outside protecting from strong wind.

I heard some positive feedback about this place a while ago. People praised the location of the place as well as the food itself. So, I have decided to try this place myself - twice (because my toddler wanted to play in the kids playground - beware parents with kids, this is the best trick this place has to offer).... More

I came here twice with my friend and I asked to sit down but the waiter arrogantly and with no patience told us we couldn't seat even though there were places available. Absolutely not raccomended because the staff is ill mannered.

Terrible place - unfriendly & rude staff, they refuse entrance to people saying they have no tables, even if there are several unoccupied. To be avoided!!!

His is a popular place so it was packed with tour groups and the servers were overwhelmed with the obnoxious tour groups...the kibinais(stuffed pastry) were decent but nothing special...little on the expensive side for Lithuanian standards...as long as it's not packed, still a good spot for a meal

Its really traditional restaurant, not like others. Here you cant get pork, because Karaim people dont eat it. If you want to taste real food and traditions, its right place to be

We visited this place to experience the food/ cuisine of a very 'rare' minority group of people (Karaim) in Lithuania: In fact, visiting Kybynlar was one of the 2 main reasons we'd decided to visit Trakai specifically. It turned out to be a disappointing tourist trap where service (and smiling) were not key priorities. The food was OK. We would... More

Cute place near the castle on Galve lake to experience the local specialty cuisines of the Karaims. Service is prompt and pleasant.
