This is a traditional Lithuanian restaurant that on 16th February (The national day in Lithuania) had people queuing around the building waiting for a space. I was part of a large pre-booked family group and was therefore with locals who explained the dishes and drinks. The menus is in English but if your first visit to Lithuania from UK please do some YouTube research on the local food as this will help explain dishes. So, having read a few comments, the soap was not cold because they failed to warm it, this is a loved national dish and is intended to be served at room temperature!
The beer is a treat but understand what you are drinking, this is brewed on site and is traditional untreated beer, so has a different flavour and experience to the modern mass produced stuff.
So, if you are coming to Lithuania seeking the real thing food experience, then this is the place and the locals think highly of the food. If you want a commercial euro food experience then this is totally the wrong location in the town.
The restaurant is located next to a wonderful traditional parkland and lake setting which is near town centre.

We wanted to try real Lithuanian cuisine. We ordered cold soup, chanterelles with potato purée and low-salt cucumber, traditional kartacze, and kvass to drink. Everything perfect. During our next visit, we also tried potato sausage and zander, the latter being the weakest of all the dishes. A big plus is the children's menu, which includes not only sweet dishes. Another plus is the prices - it's really very decent.

We ate garlic bread that carried a dip sauce, cabbage soup, potato pancakes and morel. The morel a little tasteless.

It's site is very nice with the views, and very nice staff. The food was not very good with lots of water on the plates, the morel a very very rare taste. The mushroom soup was good but nothing else. In short I do not recommend it.

Ate dinner at Etno dvaras with family. Soup, dishes and beer were tasty, service was fast and polite. From cafe/dining perspective I'd give 5/5. As for the restaurant, there's a feel like 'feed the crowd', not a special atmosphere if you're hoping for it.

We arrived at the restaurant with Russian-speaking friends. I ordered roast duck according to the picture and received a chicken breast coocked like a sole. The local beer is not good either.
Clean restaurant, nice terassa and cheap prices.

Delicious food, lovely place to bring your family here. Clean, welcoming, fresh food, “live” beer, big food portions. My son always asks me to take him there to eat “Gruzdinti varškės virtinukai”.

This place serves Lithuanian food. It's quite nice.
There is also a pathetic socially distancing regime in place. The restaurant is almost empty, yet you have to queue.
They will also not let parties of more than 5 sit together.
They also sit you in a freezimg cold open area shed type thing (like pubs in the UK did with tents at the height of the pandemic).
So come here if you want to sit apart and freeze in an atmosphere that reminds you of the worst days of the pandemic.

We have only 1 day for this beautiful city. After some research we decided to visit this restaurant. And that was the best decision. If you want to feel the real national cuisine! Everything what we ordered were super tasty ,fresh and delicious! You have to visit this place at least once in your life.☺️

Have been served a soup with potatoes. Not only it did not make up a full portion, but also were black from inside and over-sunk in oil. Not to forget crumbles on a plate for a decor. Definitely came to pay for eating the leftovers. Awful, avoid at all costs!

The food is very good, the restaurant looks nice, even the music was fine. Prizes are lower than expected. There is also the summer part of the restaurant and it looks so nice from the outside. Btw, you cant add a tip to your receipt when you want to pay by card.

Lot of negative reviews undeserved.....the staff is super nice, the food is basic, but hey that s what you came for....of course this is not Michelin star, but it perfectly meets its promises....if you want to try local food in a cozy atmosphere and attentive staff, do not hesitate
