If you are in the area you absolutely have to try the Orange le Moon restaurant. NOTE: It's not in the center, better to take the car especially if you go with children.
The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the menu is huge. There's also a big selection of vegetarian/vegan options.
After trying few restaurants here, we finally found a place which serves very good food and the service is super nice. An hidden jam in Splindleruv Mlyn. It is also very close to the Monkey Park, so, again, if you are visiting with your kids you could enjoy your after noon in the Money Park and than have an awesome dinner in the Orange Le Moon.
Prices are slightly above average, but their portions are very big, so if you are on a budget, you could consider order a dish less. It's totally worth to try this place, so make sure you do.

Super delicious food! Delicious rip eye steak. Also child-friendly. Dessert (pineapple ravioli with Marscapone cream) was phenomenal. Great ambience. Very courteous waiters. Speaking German and English

Very good restaurant located a little outside the city centre, with free parking. Nice decoration, friendly and swift service, menues offered in German, English and Czech, clear menue without chichi, nice selection of children’s plates. We had the duck breast, a steak and the salmon for the kid. Would deserve 5 stars, if it wasn’t for a few little weirdnesses: the mushrooms (side order) were overfried, I.e. black and came with sliced garlic (almost two cloves). And why on earth do hotel guests need to walk thru the restaurant in their bathrobes to get to the spa?

Located in a spa hotel, a charming wine store & restaurant. Nicely designed with a nice variaty of wines.
We had the salmon on risotto as a starter, which was excellent. The pea soup was not in the right texture.
For dessert we had a pineapple rivioli with mascarpone cheese - a nice & original dessert.
The service was good - although they had some difficulty understanding english...

We go often to this place by our stay in the hotel. They have a extremely friendly lady stuff. The food is extraordinary tasty of course you will pay for it as well. Even my children who doesn’t want to eat much find always something they like. They have a great selection of wine and mountain speck and prosciutto 👍 Only once problem with freshness of potatoe purée but of course was changed 👍 without costs.

How rude and inconsiderate of this restaurant to cancel our group reservation just like that! My family was in town and planned a dinner to celebrate my parent´s birthdays and this was the place to go as recommended. Since we were a fairly sizeable group I went there in person to see if they could accommodate us. The waiter/manager welcomed our reservation and showed me where we would sit and asked me to email our selection from the menu so things would go smooth for the group - which I did the following day, 24 hrs ahead of our planned reservation. I received an email back stating that the cancelled our reservation because they did not receive my email soon enough! REALLY!? There was no specified time or deadline set and they just ditched us like that!
I explained that the family was coming to your restaurant to celebrate my parents 70th birthday. This was a huge disappointment for us and left us without a dinner reservation as it as a busy weekend in town.
If you have rules or conditions you should tell your customers. That's your responsibility. The guests should not need to guess them.
They wrote „Thank you for your understanding“. NO YOU DO NOT HAVE MY UNDERSTANDING! Horrible.

here was totoal misunderstanding. Our restaurant is in this period very busy. Normaly we need at least 48 houres notice with all the instruction for large groupe like yours. As in past we had very bad experiences.

In general a nice restaurant but unfortunately they served me pork instead of beef. For a restaurant like this it's not acceptable. Eventually I got my correct dish but the beef was not medium like I ordered it.

But not to people who speak English. The waiter did not understand what we wanted to order or to ask. No one came to help him either.The main menu was in English but the waiter could not answer the questions about him. Moreover, the special menu was in German ..Of course we could not understand and the waiter could not explain too much.
We ordered a steak for us. We did not mention the extent of roasting, but the waiter did not ask either ...
So we got it well, which for us is too dry.
It is worth noting that even for water with slices of lemon and grapefruit (I did not ask for grapefruit slices ...). The first time I pay for regular water.
The first time we skipped dessert.
Bottom line, if you speak Czech, German and maybe Polish the restaurant is excellent for you.

Expensive. Food was good, relatively big dishes. I missed some seasonal ingredients (especially in summer time) and dishes without meet. I missed Moravian wines in the card.

thank you for your words but lets put few things in right: our menu offers also veggetarien dishes ( dishes without meet ) and our chef has never problem to cook something extra for our guest ,, just need to ask,,.
Our restaurant is also very well known for useing local seasonal ingredients. And at last in our wine list you can find few Moravian wines ( etc. Pálava Slection - Naturvini Staško ).

Came here for breakfast as I had a visit to the hotel for a weekend. Nice fresh selection of warm and cold foods. There is also a menu from which you can purchase a breakfast meal if you want something that is not on offer from the main selection. Fresh tasty and friendly service
