We came to this restaurant with my family (4 children of which 2 babies) without reservation and the waiter was really helpful and accepted us even though the restaurant was pretty busy. They have a very nice terrasse but we were inside where they have...some really comfortable chairs, they have some sort of booths which gives you extra comfort and privacy. Very children friendly and efficient service. They serve traditional and local food of high quality. The portions are generous and the value for money is excellent ! And they do have a menu in english and german ! A must if you are in the area.More

This restaurant in the center of Vrchlabi has a great atmosphere, and serves good food at reasonable prices. Reservation is recommended since it's quite populair!

Very good restaurant in the centre of Vrchlabi with wide range of dishes to choose from. Burgers are good (tried thise before), this time we ordered pulled pork in tortilla from daily menu, turkey with salad in tortilla with cheddar sauce and grilled chicken with...proscuitto. The pumpkin soup with sour cream and ginger was delicious! Everything we ordered was very good (as we are used to in this restaurant) and the staff was friendly. Recommend this place for either lunch/dinner or coffee with some nice dessert (they have more options you can choose from).More

A crowd of us stopped here for lunch one day - 7 adults & 2 children - and none of us were disappointed. We pretty much all opted for salads as it was a hot day whilst the kids had some extremely tasty pasta dishes....The portions were reasonable, the food tasty, the menu has a good range of options, and the desserts - well, the cakes in the window looked fantastic. Also the cooked food going to other tables looked superb too. Unfortunately none of us had one so I can't tell you what they tasted like, but they sure looked good. Also the cooked food going to other tables looked pretty good too. If I had a criticism (and this might actually be a lost in translation sort of thing rather than it being the restaurant's fault) it would be that my salad said it would contain anchovies (which was the reason I chose it) but there weren't actually any in my dish. A small thing and not worth criticising the place over as my salad was still very good. Worked out at about £70 (GBP) for all of us (including beers, coffees and the kids food & drink), so pretty reasonable priced. Kids will also love the giant fish tank that makes up the frontage of the bar - a nice touch. The location on the square made it reasonable secluded and good spot to watch the world go by and parking is very easy as it basically sits on top of a car park (when you get there you will understand!). Vrchlabi is a pretty little town and nice to mooch around if you need to walk it off your food. Well recommended.More
