We visited the hotel to go to restaurant and the sky bar but we will definitely be staying at this hotel on our next trip!!! Wow! But the hotel books up quickly so we’ll have to plan in advance. We were greeted by the bellman and front desk upon entry and shown to the top floors. The staff working throughout the hotel is so friendly, professional, and speak great English - we felt so comfortable and treated well. The restaurant has an extensive menu with items of all regions of Vietnam, very traditional flavors with a high class tough. The views from the restaurant are astounding and beautiful decorated. Our favorite dishes were beef stew( you can ask for extra bread to dip in the sauce), coconut beef, mango salad with fried shrimp, and beef wrapped in leaves. You can also order food from the restaurant at the roof top bar and be served there. The roof top bar is top notch with almost a 360 degree view of the Hanoi skyline which can also be witnessed inside the restaurant.. definitely instagram worthy day, sunset, and at night!! The bar’s music was just our style - we enjoyed the atmosphere tremendously. The bar can get busy so don’t arrive too late as it can get crowded. There are some seats sheltered if it rains and there is a TV to watch sports. Again the staff was very friendly attentive and friendly. We again were able to order in English and also had some nice conversations with the staff. Our favorite drinks were the mellow sunset and and shining moonlight from the cocktails and the “fresh”watermelon jug for shots. This is a high end hotel. Restaurant, and bar at affordable prices! Great for special occasions. We will be back!

Our idea was to go to Sky Bar and have a drink close to the cool sunshine in Hanoi, but finally we had a really nice Sea Food Pan wich We just can say that the sauce was really amazing and the sea food was so fresh. We were attended by Hoang who was actually professional, friendly and kind so we are sure that the experience deserves to go. We recommend it 100%!!

We booked here for a reservation on New Year’s Eve, however when we arrived we were told we needed to reply to our confirmation email to confirm our booking. In all my years of going to do different countries and restaurants, I’ve never heard of this, nor did it tell us in the booking confirmation that we needed to reply to confirm. The man serving us certainly showed like he wanted to help, ultimately we couldn’t come to a resolution. We based our New Years Eve celebrations and our anniversary around this booking and ultimately, they let us down. We would certainly avoid this place if you’re looking to book for a special moment.

My wife and I visited the Cloud Sky Bar on the 8th floor of the JM Marvel Hotel and Spa on our last night in Hanoi. The ambience of the open-air Cloud Sky Bar was a whole vibe. Great music blaring from the speakers, bar and table seating, and an awesome view of Hanoi's city skyline. There were covered seating and open seating. We began with adult beverages, and they were awesome. We ordered both the fresh and deep fried spring rolls, and they were absolutely delicious! We ordered the butter and garlic fries to accompany my sweet and sour pork ribs and the pepper beef steak. Both entrées were so flavorful. We finished off our meal with some refreshing coconut ice cream. Our server, Minh Le, gave excellent recommendations for all of the dishes we ordered. There is a big TV playing sports, and they offer hookah. This bar is a great option if you're staying at the hotel or if you are in the Old Quarter.

Amazing drinks and a meal , found randomly, highly recommended you come here. Located in the top floor of a hotel it offers hand crafted cocktails and a big menu of beef pork fish chicken and vegetables. Staff is attentive , Mr. Henry Tran is a pleasure talk to and offers recommendations for the rest of the area.

Me and my wife had a lovely time at this skybar after our dinner downstairs in VIET. The music was really good, much more life and atmosphere than other sky bars we've encountered on our travels. The staff here are amazing. We had a lovely conversation with the 2 barmen. The nutty snacks were delicious and the shot samplers were tasty too. I look forward to returning soon! Thanks to Hao and the other bar staff here. Thanks a lot Hao for everything!

We paid for the VIP package for NYE and were treated in the worst way possible.
They ended up ruining our NYE celebration.
The service was one of the worst I've ever experienced.
First they had fireworks going off next to bar tables which I believe is illegal in Vietnam.
Fireworks had sparks and the sparks were going off everywhere and burnt some holes in one of our guest's skirts. We complained and they said sorry and refused to offer anything to makeup for it.
After at least 5 different discussions with staff and managers they decided to give us a few shots of whisky.
But then despite the complaints, they had the audacity to burn more fireworks and this time right above our VIP table. Fireworks sparks flying everywhere. One of our guests then got fireworks sparks or ashes in their eyes.
Our night was over and had to go to hospital.
Horrible customer service and they don't care about customers safety.

Bar is on top of the best looking hotel in the Old Quarters. Bich, our server, was the most attentive during our visit. He definitely knows what he’s doing. Enjoyed our 2 hour stay here. Wld have been even better if it wasn’t drizzling or we could have sat out in the open. Great food as well. Spring rolls, bun cha, beef in bamboo sticks were a hit. Thank you for a lovely last night in Hanoi.

One word. Wow. JM marvel hotel has truly astounded me; The staff have impeccable service and my hotel room is very satisfactory. The staff here are very dedicated and extremely helpful, especially Mr Cuong (the Manager), who reached out a lot of times to ensure that my family and I have a pleasant stay. We are even immediately handed vouchers and discounts at the Cloud Sky Bar and the JM marvel spa.
And the most impressive part of the hotel is the Cloud Sky Bar, located at level 9. The bar has a stunning full 360 city view of central Hanoi with a priceless experience of watching the beautiful evening sunset at five pm with a nice cocktail . All the chairs and tables are spaced along the balcony railing to ensure a great city view and it is true to it’s word. The drinks are great too.
Honestly, I would give this hotel 6 stars if I would, the stay is that good!!!

Mellow sunset was absolutely delicious and the staff were courteous. The staff both are fluent in Vietnamese as well as in English and were promptly taking care of our needs. The view here is beautiful and watching the lightning off in the distance made it more of a special moment. Thành was the server and it was nice for us to make each other laugh so it made the experience more memorable...

Flora is the best! The service was friendly and polite. The food was delicious and the view was amazing. I want to come again. The types of juice they serve change every day, which was fun. The coffee was very good, so I had a second serving. You can see the whole view of Hanoi.

I had my three years anniversary here with my boyfriend today. Although we didn't make a big call and we were just having a dinner for two of us and drinking, the atmosphere here made us feel welcome. The view was amazing in the afternoon and sparkling at nights with a lot of lights. Highly recommend u guys to come and I would love to come back!!!
