Everything was without taste: food and wines ( both white and red wine-- do they mixed it by water?). My cheeses were also tasteless. What is wrong with them?

A nice and cozy place! Good food and beer, but a bit slow service. Unfortunately it was little people in the restaurant. I'm sure there will be great atmosphere with more people.

This is a friendly beer cellar with an interesting menu. Quite difficult to find without a mobile map.

If you want to eat Latvian food, generally pork, a reasonable price, good beer then this is the place for you. The restaurant is away from the tourist traps in the centre of town so unfortunately lacked atmosphere due to only a handful of diners, a shame really as it has a lot to offer. My disappointment is why with... More

Average service level, poor quality drinks and snacks. The interior didn't change for last 10 years.

Real classic Latvian food. Try one meter with sausage, but ask the waiter not to cut it before they service. Nice beers!

Visited here twice 5 years ago and food was great so decided to revisit. Ribs were stunning. I ordered a burger....bad choice covered in mayonnaise with dill......I can't stand dill. But fries were absolutely stunning. Unfiltered beer was excellent. Worth a visit if you want traditional Latvian food

The Alus Arsenals was one of the stops we made as part of the Tasting Tour we had in Klaipeda. We were welcomed warmly and ushered to a cozy underground room filled with warm lights and communal table. They served us 4 types of beer that they brewed and were all great. We were also served several types of cheese... More

We were here to do a local beer tasting and have some local snack dishes. We had 3 normal beers and 1 ginger beer, all of which was very good. Snacks included breads, fish and meats all of which were also good.

We stayed on Arsenala iela and this cellar bar restaurant was litterly across the street from the apartment. We naturally visited the place as it was a likely last stop on an evening. We stopped here for a drink in the early evening on our first day. The place was empty and obviously lacked any kind of atmosphere. The beer... More
