The Alus Arsenals was one of the stops we made as part of the Tasting Tour we had in Klaipeda. We were welcomed warmly and ushered to a cozy underground room filled with warm lights and communal table. They served us 4 types of beer that they brewed and were all great. We were also served several types of cheese... More

We were here to do a local beer tasting and have some local snack dishes. We had 3 normal beers and 1 ginger beer, all of which was very good. Snacks included breads, fish and meats all of which were also good.

We stayed on Arsenala iela and this cellar bar restaurant was litterly across the street from the apartment. We naturally visited the place as it was a likely last stop on an evening. We stopped here for a drink in the early evening on our first day. The place was empty and obviously lacked any kind of atmosphere. The beer... More

I strongly recommend this restaurant. This isn't a touristic place because it's not very easy to find, but there are a delicious local food and beer, besides a good prices. Foi uma dica de moradores o endereço e valeu muito a pena.

They have a really good homemade sussage, fantastic bread and awesome beers. Just try a small glass of each and you wont be disappointed...and all for a really nice price (we die only spend 35€ for two meal, a desert and a lot of beer)

I visited this place as part of a large group in April. The restaurant is atmospheric and cosy, basically you're in a cave! The food was easily the best we ate whilst in Riga, superb quality and excellently presented by (very polite and attentive) staff. On top of this, the price was incredibly reasonable for the exceptional food, service and... More

This restaurant is bit hidden in a small street, as well the entrance. We weren't sure if it is open or not, because you have to descend several steps until you reach the restaurant and the rooms are just sparsely exposed with light.

A bit more expensive than other similar bars, but worth it. Had a delicious pigs ear with cheese. Great beers on taps, including their own light and dark ale.

I had the grilled chicken fillet with honey-mustard sauce and grilled vegetables. It was tasty, but a bit burned and the portion was little bit too small as for me. My fiancé had a beef burger with French fries, he liked it but he found his portion also a bit too small. We enjoyed the beer.
