We were in Riga for 4 nights, which means 4 dinners and this restaurant was our favorite! The service was at a very high standard indeed, and Maris, our waiter, was exceptional. He gave excellent advice in guiding us through the different choices on the...menu and we were not disappointed by the blend of traditional dishes and even the more modern takes on Latvian cuisine. The food, ambience and service is fantastic. I had the traditional Latvian bean and bacon appetizer and the potato stuffed with meat and sour cream. Both were delicious.

Lovely place to dine with warm friendly staff. A small menu but excellent quality. I highly recommend the porcini soup in the bread bowl, delicious!

This was the best dining experience we had in our 8 day trip through Denmark, Sweden, and Latvia. Our server Maris set up everything flawlessly. My wife had a perfectly cooked filet mignon while my Latvian friend and I were able to sample some local...Latvian delicacies like lamb tongue, beef heart tartare, and blood sausage, all of which were fantastic - and none of which I can easily find back in the States. The flavour profiles were traditional and very tasty. Presentations of the appertizers and soup was excellent and Paula gave us top notch service. We really did love the experience in Milda.

Best food I’ve had in a long time!! The mushroom soup was to die for! And the waiter Daniels was so friendly and patient. 1000% would recommend!!!

My daughter (an adult) and I felt lucky to get a table without pre-booking and we got there about 8.15pm and felt welcome. The waiter was an amazing young man and he did what he could for us in the hour it took for our...meal to be prepared. I felt sorry for the waiter as he seamed embarrased by the situation. The food was delicious. I recommend creamy porcini soup in bread. Daniels is awesome - very kind and polite waiter! :) I would definitely come back again.

Easy to find in te old town area. Nice ambient. Delicious food. Sweet puding from the black bread is a must have. Very good service. Frendly weiters.
