My meal at Rozengrals wasn't bad, by any means - but it wasn't great. I started with the venison soup, which was pretty tasty. It was accompanied by small loaf of crusty bread, which was also good. I ordered the chicken with a curry sauce....More

My wife and I were in Riga tor four days (I was there on business) and this was our favorite restaurant. It seems impossibly hokey/touristy at first -- medieval wine cellar with costumed staff -- but the food is great, the candlelit atmosphere enchanting, and...More

I first walked past this place a few years and said to myself "typical tourist trap", but yesterday was recommended by friends to meet there for my daughter's birthday. Actually - it was very very good. The setting, décor and staff all looked amazing. The...More

Really good food (would definitely recommend the beef), nice atmosphere (medieval themed underground), staff a bit slow (not very attentive to ask for dessert or bill). Overall would recommend.

The atmosphere is incredible. Downstairs, you will find a pure medieval atmosphere with a very nice decoration. The food is OK and the service excellent. Enjoy !

The building is more than inviting from outside and the interior is a medieval treat. The venison soup with a big hunk of bread was delicious and washed down with a frosty beer all for under 10 Euro.

We went here because it was recommended as a great experience, we got there around 5pm and you go down stairs into the dungeons below which it is all lit by candles. At the bottom of the stairs was a large seating area lots of...More

Yes it’s expensive and yes it’s touristy... we expected that and booked anyway. I came here with my parents. We loved the dark dungeon candlelit atmosphere. We chose 3 mains to share and taste, something we could not prepare at home. The duck and rabbit...More
