We ordered Pizza vegetariana and Pizza speciale. Pizzas we're a bit tasteless. The service was really good here and the atmosphere was nice aswell. Would go again and try some other dishes.

We ate lunch and had a blast! Really good Italian food. Bruschettas were very delicious 👌 and nice house wine. We will go again.
Over all the atmosphere was perfect. The food did not disapoint and our family recommend to test pizzas. Location is in heart of Riga. Even the salon is not that big, we liked our stay.
The best thing about this restaurant was the fantastic service from the waiter the food was bland and tasteless we should of stopped after the soup which was like water, wished we said something at the time how tasteless it was but typical English paid...our bill and left never to return such a shame as we all lovely Italian food.More
Very poor experience with the food and the restaurant cook who was also the resturant owner. The most significant thing for anyone reading this review is that our experience is clearly not an isolated issue or one-off. There are NUMEROUS other reviewers all reporting the...same issue with the chef / restaurant owner and quality of food received. So on arrival the restaurant was almost empty. We were met by the waiter who was polite and professional. The decor was pretty good too and it was a pleasant environment to sit in. The menu unfortunately was pretty limited in respect of pasta, which allowed either pork or seafood pretty much. We asked if it was possible to have some chicken cooked to go along with pasta and mushrooms ** This was not a pre-selectable menu item although these ingredients were individually available for separate meals hence why we asked. The waiter confirmed that everything was made from fresh and confirmed that he would ask the chef if this could be arranged. The waiter returned and apologised to us and said that the chef had refused to accomodate this request. The chef had passed onto the waiter that “True Italians don’t cook dishes like that” We then asked if it was possible for Carbonara to be cooked without pork, again with the knowledge that the food was being made fresh from the start. The waiter asked the chef for us and again returned apologising stating that the chef refused to accommodate this request stating that “Carbonara wont be made without pork / bacon as it is always included in Italy” This was surprising as the food was being made fresh and it was so simple just to leave an ingredient out We simply wanted a pasta with cream sauce and mushrooms. We then asked for a proper carbonara (with bacon) and asked if we could have some mushrooms cooked along with it. For a third time the waiter asked and confirmed that the chef had refused this time stating: “Mushrooms wont be added to Carbonara because that’s not an Italian dish He reluctantly agreed to cook a serving of mushrooms separately and add it to a separate plate. We said, fine go ahead, no problem with this. The carbonara was brought out and had very little sauce at the bottom of the plate. There was a small quantity of mushrooms included. However, the main concern was with the pasta. It was clearly undercooked, felt chewy and was sticking to our teeth. We had one bite and told the waiter of our concerns. He informed the chef / owner who came straight out to the table and challenged us on our concerns. He stated “I am from Italy and thats how pasta is cooked” Humbly, we are frequent travellers, have been in 50+ countries including Italy and hve a love of pasta and enjoyed it around the world. This pasta ws clearly undercooked and not like any other properly cooked pasta we have experienced before. We politely shared our concerns again making clear that the mushrooms were fine and that our issue was with the pasta. The chef was not listening and developed an attitude stating once again pasta is meant to be like that. He then offered a solution of taking it back into a kitchen and put it in a microwave to soften the pasta a bit. As light hearted as this sounds it truly was like we were part of some Gordon Ramsay restaurant programme where he was challenging a stubborn and arrogant restaurant owner who was set in only his ways. If we wanted a microwaved pasta we wouldnt be coming to an Italian restaurant and paying the prices we did for that experience We end up leaving a moment later, as soon as we got our bill. We still had to pay for those 2 carbonaras. It was not taken off our bill, no discount or free desert was offered. 2 full plates of uncooked carbonara were left on a table. We will never come back to this restaurant. The issue was not with the server who was professional and polite, or the restaurant itself. It was 100% down to the owner / chef, his attitude and quatity of food. His very firm and inflexible “I am from Italy and what I say goes” attitude is the major thing causing this restaurant to have so many similar negative reviews. We totally understand that if the chef does not want to cook dishes that are not on a menu (pasta with cream sauce, chicken and mushrooms) thats not the problem. As mentioned we travel a lot, and Latvia is probably a country #56 for us. We have eaten pasta in Italy and many many other countries. We never had undercooked pasta served to us and especially an owner/ cook with an attitude by our table while we were trying to have a nice meal on our anniversary. If we could give this restaurant 0 stars, we would and it was only the polite and professional manner of the waiter that left the restaurant with any positive credibility.More
Ask to put chicken in carbonara is a blasphemy. I'll never put chicken into carbonara . Not even under torture Best Regards Chef Raffaele #carbonarapride
This is supposedly a highly rated Italian restaurant but the experience was underwhelming. I don’t blame them for being quiet (empty), but the waitress couldn’t even be bothered to leave the bar when we arrived, instead just pointing at tables. The pasta was undercooked (not...al dente, undercooked) and bland (no salt). The ragu was cold, the pesto underseasoned. They didn’t offer any parmesan or anything like that. No salt or pepper (ironically). We’d have asked if the waitress were not busy falling asleep at the bar with the owner/chef splat out over the counter. I would give this place 5 stars for not being bothered. The bottled water was good.More
Fantastic service and food, great value for your money. Cozy and familiar atmosphere. Recommend it and it has gluten free options
Absolutely loved this place. The food was amazing - we had a few types of bruschetta to start, a pizza and Ragu (which was so delicious), then tiramisu for dessert. Also had house white wine which was great too. Really reasonable price for such lovely...food.More
Nice place In the heart of the Old Town, amazing atmosphere! Always great food, welcoming staff! Never disappointed!
Very good food, very nice staff. Price is good according to the food. Recommended it to My friends and will come Back here to eat
Nice place, great location, beautiful terrace, friendly staff and awesome pizza! A bit more expensive but totally worth the money.
I have visited this restaurant several times before and every time it was pleasure. I don’t know what has happened, but service was amateaur and slow. Also this time quality of food was not same as before. Pasta was cold and under cooked (I know...when pasta is ”al dente”). Top of everything waiter tip himself without asking! Entinen hyvä ravintola, jonka taso on laskenut pahasti. Liekö omistajat vaihtuneet? Hidas ja amatöörimäinen palvelu yhdistyi raakaa pastaan. Kaiken huipuksi tarjoilija pyöristi laskun ylös päin ilman lupaa.More
Just saw in FB that is a new Italian restaurant ,so we decided to visit , our choice fall on fish food plate , before food were delivered on table we get our drinks and basket with four pieces of bred ( no oil and...Balsamico ! ) I think a real Italians serve always bread oil and Balsamico ?! So if you want can eat dry bred 👎👎👎 Waitress was not from the best trained ... unfortunately we have tasted and decided no more times , is not that atmosphere to come back .More
It was a pleasent evening. Cosy atmosphere, good service, delicious food. Prices are quite reasonable.
Jumped there by chance I found a bit naïve the furniture but the food was very good. Well prepared and with delicious taste, especially seared tuna fish. Price is more than fair. But the principal asked for tip when paying saying that service was not...included in the price. That is not a problem since price is right but is neither customary in Latvia nor disclosed to clients. A good place for Italian food amateursMore
