The restaurant is situated in center of Old Town in Riga. Moderne and nice interior, but first if all a very good kitchen! Nice local fresh products and of course an excellent and smiling personnel. Prices are correct and we shall be back next time in Riga the capital of Latvia, a small Baltic counrty where you feel people's pride... More

Had oysters as a first course and mussels as the second. The oysters were served properly and were very good. The mussels were cooked in a tomato and leek sauce. It did not work. I said so to the waitress. Told her to try traditional French and Belgian recipes. The service was good. Prices reasonable. Worth trying.

Right off the main square with indoort and outdoor seating. Great selection of very well prepared fish dishes. Friendly English speaking wait staff. Especially liked the smoked trout meal. Great start to our first day in Riga.

A lovely looking restaurant in the Old Town of Riga. My boyfriend and I love fish and seafood so we didn’t hesitate to visit this place. We wanted to eat something rather small so we ordered herring and a seafood salad. Attention: the herring was served as a pâté! What a surprise. Both dishes tasted good (but we’re not very... More

Although the service was excellent the seafood dishes we ordered were not up to our expectations. The bread they served us appeared to have been leftover from lunchtime. The rolls appeared to be fresher than the pre-sliced rye bread. They gave a puny amount of pimento butter and herbed butter: two marble-sized scoops. Mussels appetizer was better than our entrees.... Nice evening out. As starter we took the Baltic soup (speciality of the chef) which was a fine first experience of Latvian cuisine for us. The main dishes were creative fish plates which tasted very good. Although it was very busy, the service was excellent.

Riga Old Town has a mixed bag of restaurants. The food is often very meat-y/piggy, or sauce-y. So it was a treat to find this restaurant. The food is good and light, the atmosphere is nice, and the service is attentive. I had an excellent fish soup and a warm salmon salad. It is not cheap, but it is worth... More

The restaurant looks really lovely and that's what drew us in. However that said, long wait for food and drinks. When the food arrived it was average and not particularly hot. Had much nicer meals for less money. Wouldnt recommend or return.

Would not suggest it and would not return. Paid about 100eur for two, but the food was absolutely average. Even the place is quite good, but definately view does not cost it.
