Great dinner! Absolutely fantastic dinner, from start to finish! Can not fault anything, service was very attentive and most importantly - experience on the food was a memorable one.

This was my first night in Riga travelling in COVID19 times - I really felt totally relaxed and happy to enjoy the outdoors and the lovely food. OK maybe it is a little bit pretentious and the name creates high expectations but the ambience is...perfect, the food overall was tasty and I had a lovely time - so I guess it was worth it!More

Nice restaurant in the heart of Old Riga town. Great tasty food together with professional/friendly service. The atmosphere was relaxed and eating outside street level was nice.

This restaurant is situated on a charming pedestrianised street with both outdoor and indoor seating. We chose to eat outside given the beautiful weather, but inside was also very light and airy, very stylishly decorated throughout. We were a little disappointed with our starters, the...fish in the ceviche tasted more of plain raw fish than the limey marinade which we had expected; the cold cucumber soup was a little bland and contained rather oversalted cucumber pieces as though to compensate. Our mains were the special, strip loin steak, which was heavenly and accompanied by a bowl of exquisitely prepared baby vegetables, and the pike perch was also delicious. We would have appreciated more knowledge about the wine list but there did not seem to be anyone there who could tell us more than the basics. I can understand why people give this restaurant 5 stars, and would definitely go back again to try some other starters.More

We happened upon Riga during Restaurant Week so were lucky enough to try both 3 Pavaru and the other 3 restaurants during our visit. Both menus were excellent displaying a contemporary twist on traditional Latvian cuisine. Highly recommend both.

First time in Riga. I did not expect much. But then I took a dinner in this restaurant. It changed my view on Riga completely. What a superb imaginative but at the same time so tasty in unique cuisine. Loved it from beginning to end....Well ballanced design, couragous presentation and pure delight in my mouths. Thanks!More

We had a lovely time here, from the extraordinary "amuse Bouche" of swirled and splurged purees and reductions with delicous bread ( it really worked!) to well executed cooking. Knowlegeable staff . Be warned they will sell you the most expensive bottle of wine if...you are not careful! one of the best meals we had in RigaMore

3 chefs restaurant is a nice gourmet restaurant, located in Jacobs Barracks in Riga old town. It’s stylish decorated and ambiance is relaxed and trendy. Personnel is very friendly and all spoke excellent english. The menu offers a’la carte and a 9 course tasting menu....We chose the Jerusalem artichock soup as the starter and slamon and sea bass for main course. The signature thing of the place is to serve bread in the beginning with a variaty of sauces being spread on a sheet of baking paper on the table. This was fun and the bread with the sauces was very tasty. Also the food it self was well prepared and delicious. We finished the meal with a piece of chocolate cake, which we, having learned from previous mistakes, shared. Also this time, one portion was enough for two. All in all 3 Chefs Restaurant was a pleasant experience and can be recommended for dinner.More

Totally worth every penny. The whole dinner and the customer service was a fascinating experience. I would definitely recommend the ostrich tartar.

I suggest you just get in touch with them. They might be interested in doing that. Very cool staff that enjoy creating a good experience. We had an awesome meal there in a good size room with a kitchen so should be possible... More

I agree with the previous answers-no dress code, however, considering the restaurant price range, you will probably feel more comfortable being simply neat.
