About
The three chefs restaurant „Tam labam būs augt” (The good must grow - Eng.) is a restaurant with the open kitchen, beloved by citizens and admired by guests of our city. It was founded in September 2011 by two famous Latvian chefs, Mārtiņš Sirmais and Ēriks Dreibants. Very fast the restaurant earned popularity and was acknowledged among the highest ranking restaurants in Riga. As a proof to it, in 2013 and 2014 it received a 3rd place in the Top 30 restaurants in Latvia Excellence award. Despite rocket fast success, we remain accessible, friendly and open to everybody. We love our clients and will provide perfect service even under the most complicated circumstances.

You start with bread service on your paper place mat to which condiments for the bread are applied with squeeze bottles or dolloped with a spoon. Strange, oddly attractive and actually not bad. The Japanese couple next to us were baffled, The young Turkish woman...More

Great place! Located at the edge of the old town, next to the park, in an old building. Nice friendly but efficient service. Great menu with innovative taste combinations beautifully presented. Really wonderful place in all respects. Will come again!

Food is excellent and on par with the trendy foodie restaurants in Soho in London that we frequent (who needs Gordon Ramsay??!). Staff are friendly and helpful. Atmosphere is modern and funky but relaxed. We went with our 6 year old for Sat lunch and...More

It is supposed to be one of trendy "foodie" place to be...not really for us. The open kitchen setting (i.e. the kitchen is in the middle of the dining room and fully visible) has its charm and in the era of "full transparency" i guess...More

Liked the personnel and food. Tasty food, friendly and stuff, good communication, chill atmosphere. One dish per our group was not perfect, overall satisfaction was high.

I agree with the previous answers-no dress code, however, considering the restaurant price range, you will probably feel more comfortable being simply neat.
