We stumbled upon this little treasure on our way to the old town. It was mid December 2012 and there was a lot of snow on the ground, so we needed somewhere to warm up. We ordered hot chocolate and cake and proceeded upstairs to enjoy the view across the park. The food and drink were lovely, and it was... More

The Tea House offers a wide range of tea and the most delicious cakes. It is a great spot to relax and enjoy the beautiful view. The employees were extremely friendly and recommended some teas!

Need to clean or change pillows outside. Very good service and helpful. Would rate higher if it was cleaner, but because of that we will not come back at the moment. But we will walk past, and if we see new or clean outdoor seating area m, we would love to try again.

It was impossible not to chill in the sun with a nice pot of white tea and looking at the water running by. What a great idea.

Most relaxing place in Riga, wonderful spot to while away the hours on a rainy day. A plethora of tea to choose from, but also other beverages if tea isn't your thing. Lots of lovely homemade cakes, biscuits etc. Comfy cushioned seating.

Great selection of tea, but also sell alcohol and other drinks such as club mate. It's perfect location. Sit outside on the comfy cushions watching the people in the park or go upstairs and lay down with your drink looking out at the park. One of my favourite places in Riga.

We visit this place every time we are in town! Atmosphere and view is great any season and any time of the day. The choice of blends is enormous so you never get bored. Hours of great conversations and warming tea - definition of relaxing and chilling. For a different atmosphere try the Apsara tea house branch in Vermana Gardens.... More

A great selection of teas, including the option for a ceremonial tea. Beautiful tea selection that you can see before you buy in clear glasses. You can sit on the upper deck of the building (a full 360 degree seating area with large comfy cushions looking out over the river or outside through large windows). Lovely in the evening also... A bohemian tea house with idyllic views on a canal. After along walk in Riga's charming old town, I made myself comfortable on one of its moroccan – style futons, propped up by two cushions, and sipped happily on a cup of tea, which had been infused to perfect timing.
