Beautiful Italian profile. Don't bother with it. Have a pizza, pasta or something Italian. Drink a good wine, you can't ask for more to feel good. The neighboring restaurant Riverera is significantly more popular, but here you can also feel good at reasonable prices.

We reserved a table at Rossini to celebrate my mother who turned 64 recently and we were met with first class service!
We had a little girl of only 1 year with us, and they were good at making arrangements for small children. There was a large selection of delicious Italian food, and very good wine, and cozy atmosphere at a reasonable price!
Our waiter was incredibly nice, he was very helpful in recommending both food and drink. The food was incredibly tasty and good! Our waiter even served me affogato, despite it not being on the menu. 10/10 experience!
Our best restaurant visit in Riga on this trip!

The place looks good, my client who had invited me said it's Riga's best place, and he was once thinking of a career as a chef; Well-dressed, very accommodating waiter made the first impression, he could answer specific questions, knew the food and could suggest and showed flexibility. The food came, looked excellent and met with GREAT Tastiness! We also sat outside..and got our business done and my hunger..left..

We are family of four, came to this restaurant for a birthday dinner, we didn’t make a table reservation in advance, and the waiter was very reluctant to look for a place for us in an empty restaurant. The waitress, taking the order, did not look at us, when my husband showed in the menu card what we want to order, the waitress told him "read it!". ?!?Excuse me?!?
In general, we didn't get any pleasure. Even though it was a birthday, we didn't order a cake, just went to a friendlier place, the food was too ordinary to say even one more word about this place.

The restaurant was supposed to be open till 11 pm and we arrived at 9 pm. The waiter looked annoyed at his watch as soon as we entered but he gave us a table anyway.
The food was ok (nothing exceptional) but the best part was when we asked for 2 espressos at 22:15 pm and the waiter said that it was not possible as they were already cleaning the espresso machine.

Nice looking restaurant and seemed to be busy. There were 3 issues I faced:
1. The main course of spaghetti and chicken - the portion was a joke - very small and I'm really sorry to say there was absolutely no seasoning added as the food was completely bland and tasteless
2. They only had one beer on tap and no beers in bottles - come on! I won't name the brand but it was poor and too many places have contracts with this mainstream, poor tasting beer company. Get some better beers and look after your customers!
3. The bread and the bread sticks we had for starters were also sadly tasteless. The bread sticks were too soft and doughy.
The only plus's were the waiter seemed smiley and friendly and the Tiramisu was good and had lots of fresh cream inside.
I will not be going back here sadly.

The restaurant is in a beautiful part of Riga, and has a large covered outdoor seating area, and nice rooms inside. As August has beautiful weather we made our reservation for the outside covered area. The food and wine prices are very reasonable. There is a good selection of food and wine. I had the bruschetta with the seasonal chanterelle mushrooms, and for an entree the grilled shrimp and ratatouille. My husband had the “Rossini” steak with spinach and mashed potatoes. Both were excellent. I finished with some peach sorbet. The service was good and friendly and very professional. Our server had been with the restaurant since it first opened in a different location. We look forward to returning!

We really liked the restaurant! Everything was great. We really enjoyed the dishes and the asparagus with porcini and parmesan was divine! The dessert was also very tasty. We will definitely come back. We highly recommend this place to everyone.

We visited this restaurant on December 30th. Everything was great, but some points to mention: The bread offered was necessary, we did not even finish it although it was expensive. The food was great and service nice and polite. The chocolate foundant was amazing, definitely recommend. However, it was quite expensive, but we will come back.

Very relaxed atmosphere, even though on a Monday night it was packed out. Trrrific negronis to start (with vodka, not gin - called negrovskis, for the uninitiated ). Food was high calibre - our starters were 1. Burrata and 2. Cabrese.. Went on to 1. Linguine with Tiger Prawns and 2. Spaghetti with vegetables and seafood. Both mains of exceptional quality and taste. Wine list broad and contained a beautiful Pinot Grigio (at €27) and a bold Chianti Classico (at €37). Highly recommended restaurant with trrrific service.

This is a great spot! It’s a little further back from the intersection but well worth the visit. The spaghetti carbonara is delicious! Everything tasted good!

We visited Rossini restaurant on 14th June 2022. We were in total 4 persons, all speaking english, despite living in Riga.
Our waiter (as per the receipt was Martins P)
The food was OK (pizzas are so-so).
Then came the bill, fully written in Latvian language.
Upon going home, i translated one line which looked suspicious :
"Apkalposana 9% as it didnt match any item we ordered.
I discovered that they charged us a service fee of 9% whereas as per the menu, this is applicable only starting from 6 people.
We later called the restaurant to complain :
- they were NOT polite on the phone
- they didnt aplogize
- their excuse is that "the button is very close to another item on the screen"
I went back to the restaurant and the manager was absent. I asked another waiter to show me how their system works : they use Airkeep_r : the button to add the tax is totally separated from the "food menu", meaning you need to consciously go there and add it to the bill.
Not only did they cheat, the manager lied to us to cover the fraudulent act of the employee !
overall, very bad experience, be careful and check your receipt carefully !

I ordered a carbonara and it was a kid’s portion. The restaurant was supposed to be open till 23h. We ordered espresso at 22h15 and they told us that the machine was cleaned now.. There were 3 tables who were not finished with the meal…
