There's a lot of buts in this Rigensis. We arrived on Monday morning to have breakfast. Bread? Only by 11 is available and the one showed in the showcase store is only to promote and show. We know it's Monday morning but you can't have a bad service if you want to have a business in a "Very Typical" area... More

Absolutely great coffee shop and bakery, offering a wide range of pastry, decadent-looking cakes and freshly baked bread. It has a self-service set up, where you go in and buy your pastries and beverages, then pick a table, but there is a person who picks up dishes and cleans tables. I was there in July, and between 10:30 am and... More

This cafe was recommended to us by our guide. It had a toilet, nice and clean. Seating inside and out, underneath a canopy. A range of coffee and teas, plus hot chocolate and a great range of pastries, bread and cakes. Not too expensive either.

While in old riga stopped for a latte and torte both were very good, nice sitting area outside. Good place to stop for snack and to relax watching people walk by.

The first pastry house in Riga this historic bakery is well worth a visit for a coffee and pastry. Great atmosphere, good coffee (tea and soft drinks are also available) and a huge selection of pastries to choose from

There's a lot of pastry shops about in Riga and this is an excellent one. Loved the cheesecake (and the other pastries). They also serve pretty good coffee.

Hidden between two bars/ restaurants. Great selection of cakes and pastries. Good cappuccino too! There is a terrace with some very aggressive birdlife, so if you are not into birds, sit inside!

If you are looking for homemade bakery this place may do. As an alternative to all beer places around Old Riga, you will find homemade cakes, salty baking and bread. Nothing fancy, quite heavy and rustic but it's authentic. Nice choice of china.

Selected this cafe because of it's attractive window display and décor. Enjoyed the coffee and the cakes but our visit was spoiled by unfriendly and unhelpful staff. The two "young" girls were clearly bored and made it obvious that our presence was an irritation to them. They didn't smile nor look at us when serving and once we sat down... More
